Is it men's full sleeved shirt?

DS wearing a full sleeved men's shirt with collar. I saw women of all ages wearing this kind of attire in another serial on colors.

How this has come to become a part of the women's attire in that part, I am curious to know.

In Balikavadhu, the younger ones of Jaitsar are not following this attire.
The teachers are wearing sarees.

I have seen women in Haryana wearing something like men's full sleeve shirt with ghaghra. What DS wears in school uniform seems to be fusion of her shirt of ghaghra (as she used to wear) and the skirt-blouse of the school uniform.

It can become a fashion statement if they use attractive colors, prints and some innovation.
