The episode starts with the trio- Nanu, Balivesh and Grerson at their guru's place to know about the future. Nanu tells Grerson that all knowledge cannot be found in and limited to books. According to him to get the desired "Gyan" and "Vidya", one has to look beyond knowledge prescribed in books and for this one has to have recourse to the ancient Indian system of learning.
The scene shifts to Shivanand and Dadi arguing about their clashing perspective as Rudra looks on. Dadi disagrees with Shivanand who is again at a point in time where he is putting his family in danger. She calls him selfish. Shivanand keeps defending his stand. This war is far bigger and far beyond a simple family revenge. He asks for Rudra's opinion who agrees with his grandmother. He too feels that the war is not worth it if it will bring more "dard" (hurt) than "narm" (heal).
"You are still unaware of the purpose of your existence" Shivanand tells Rudra before leaving.
Balivesh has finally found Maya and has her captured. He starts menacing Maya, telling her how she is not going anywhere and how he will use her as a puppet to get Rudra. Maya is now a liberated woman. She only smirks back, her body language giving Balivesh a clear message- she is neither intimidated by him nor afraid of anything! A fuming Balivesh is to slap her when he gets the news of Animesh's health deteriorating.
When he reaches the hospital, his brother passes away.
Dadi and Rudra are sitting outside, in front of Ganga. Rudra wants to take her home but the old lady only exclaims- where is home?
Home is the place where the family resides, where peace and "anand" prevails...right now Ganga is feeling more like her home than any other place.
She invites her grandson to sit by her side, teaching him the different lessons of life.
" disappointment will be there but never ever lose hope in life. Why are you sad?"
Dadi tells Rudra that he can open up his heart to her and take her as his confident. She can see that he is miserable, she can feel his heart ache, his anger towards himself...
"Never take a major step when angry..."
Just then the early rays of the sun are shown. She stands up and moves towards the light and states- a new beginning has started!
Tiwari has set a meeting with all stakeholders regarding his "Project Ganga" and comes up with a brilliant idea about how to sensitize the people about the deplorable state of the sacred river Ganga. He serves them a plate of filthy garbage as breakfast to get them to understand how Ganga Mayya is being polluted and how a river which is venerated and which gives water/life to billions of people is being taken for granted and ill treated to become one of the world most polluted rivers.
The scene shifts to Animesh's funeral rites preparation with a devastated Balivesh in deep thoughts and Nanu in his room staring at his dead son picture. When the servant comes to call Nanu for the "antim sanskaar", the old man only glares back at him, pain and revenge evident in his eyes.
Tiwari's impactful speech wins the heart of all the stakeholders and they all agree to help him in his endeavor to save Ganga Mayya.
He is still discussing his project when Dadi, Shivanand and Rudra come there. Tiwari knows the old lady and addresses her as Dadi
