now that we are heading toward the closure i feel CV's should try to focus on sahir character.things which were not explained and the loss of character connectivity which most people felt should be dealt.I understand that time is running out but as a viewer i hate being left with unanswered questions this is true esp with this particular PH. same thing happened with IPKKND with the ML quitting the show, his dark past story was compromised and left questions unanswered.
Arzoo is just another khushi. In IPKKND FL character was too butchered and more importance was given to arnav and his pain, his healing. and so on.it was always khushi who compromised with arnav .in fact i would say that khushi was married in a much more humiliating way and badly treated from arnav after marriage.

Hi Aiden, with you on Sahirs character...there are loose ends that remain to be tied...I am not sure if they will ever be able to explain the inconsistencies in the time that is left...I think all they can do ...is to show where he is and where he wants to be going forward...but may be they can and I will be surprised...

Did not mean to compare characters of the two shows...that is a big can of worms ...not sure how useful that will be...but I take the bigger point you are making...,which is...soap stories connect when female characters and their feelings get the focus...not the other way...This is a must in all desi soaps...that find long time success...IPK was an exception that it did so well, for as long as it did...without Khushi's feelings being the focus...but in the beginning...at least...her feelings did matter more...and she ran away when things didn't make sense to her...as an expression of her feelings...,

I believe there was a time frame in IPK after Arnav realized he had misjudged Khushi he tried to make up for his shortcomings. And she kept reminding him of his flaws, what they were and how they made make such a big mistake. I believe he tried to make her birthday special through money and she reminded him how simplicity can be more special than extravagance. See if he we had seen something to that extent here I wouldn't have felt so offended watching the show. But the problem here was Saahir was never even told how wrong he was. He never admit it openly infront of Arzoo. Even one sincere apology where he mentions all his outrageous mistakes like Arnav does to Khushi would have made me feel better. Its almost like they tried to pretend the pre-wedding fiasco didn't happen and erase it out of everyone's memory. They kind of cheated us here and i don't believe it was completely the absence of time. Or else how much time does a sincere apology even take?

I hated the rushed apology scene in IPK and the whole build up for that where Arnav actually threatened her to comeback to him and made the mockery of Khushi's pain by that 24000 rupee thing, but here...you are right that we didn't even get an apology, but I think the makers actually wanted to show Sahir's redemption track where Aarzoo was supposed to become money minded post marriage, and Sahir was supposed to feel bad and blame himself for this change.InfAct with the coal walking scene and the much hyped wedding was just to show that the innocent and loving Aarzoo has transformed into something like Sahir(like Sahir had become post Zeenat's betrayal).so definitely it was on cards...but damn...the change in genre from romance to thriller and a useless murder ruined everything, plus all the black magic stuff by Kurti Aapa and Zeenat's arrival to create the so called thrilling elements in the show actually ruined their story,so the PH actually had no choice of showing the redemption.Though I still think that a convo between these two is needed where Aarzoo actually shares her pain with him rather than repeating the same lines like how great and selfless you are,and how your pain matters to me etc etc,for once she should share how terrible she felt when her father left him(that point hasn't been discussed in the show and she has always been shown as a strong person, but I'd like to listen how she felt in her childhood and how she decided to become a designer) and when Sahir betrayed him how dejected she was and Sahir apologizing for his past deeds.I don't even mind she forgiving him straight away coz post marriage Sahir hasn't been mean to her and has supported her throughout (unlike ASR),even risked his own life to save her...but I need that closure.

That is what making me feel offended I guess You are bang on. The discussions have always been based around Saahir and his pain. Never around Arzoo and her pain. And only Arzoo so far has told Saahir how great and strong he is. I still consider him rather weak even though he didn't abuse her further after marriage. I would like to see Saahir once tell Arzoo about how great of a woman she is to be able to look past her pain for him.

The only issue I had with her forgiving him was it at one point seemed like the polygamy matter was melting her. I wouldn't have minded if it was completely after the bullet scene.

Thnx for your reply!

Aarzoo is definitely stronger than Sahir! I wish we could actually see Aarzoo becoming a famous designer and Sarfraz repenting for thinking so low of daughters and Nausheen finally moving on.infact ever since the show began I was waiting for Sarfraz and Farah's son entry,so that the makers could actually show how daughters can be better than the sons. This was shown in ZGH and I loved it.

Since you highlighted some part of my comment,I just saw that I wrote him instead of her...I don't know whether it was me or my iPad...but sorry for confusing you.

^Thats another one of my problems she has been shown to be stronger than Saahir in all matters but clearly never got credit for it. Imagine getting over a heart break within days because your loved one needed you versus seven years! Not that I was exactly proud of her for it but it takes strength. Yet the screenplay goes on ranting "Saahir the great" just not fair. Sarfaraz doesn't know what he lost. I don't think ten sons could account for one daughter like this!
And no you didn't confuse me!

Hi Guys...
Going away from the serious discussion a bit...
Did anyone notice how Saahir kept calling the mystery freind ANNU, instead of ANU😆!!
Even Alvira did it do...
Do you know Annu?
No I didnt know any Annu...😆😆😆
Well, I guess if she knew her...she wouldn't be calling her ANNU😛!
Anam, Arzoo and even the shady man said "Anu".😊
Its like me calling Kanye West...Kayne West...My kids are giving me a hard time about this...My defence? Hey I dont watch the trash...I know its Kanye...(I do...really!)but mostly I see his name in print as a reference not his music...or gossip shows...😃

Lovely post Sush and thanks for the amazing collages Shweta 😊
You are so right. They need to realise that we want to watch Romantic comedies, with a good balance of both. They don't need to overdo it either.
This show had too many genre changes, they should have left it to play out as initially planned.

It was so good to see Zaki again and that too being his natural self, just like when the serial started 😊 The Zaki and KA scene was awesome 👏. I hope we get to see more of him in the last few episodes

Why is it that not a single person sees Zeenat wondering around the house?

Is the ACP trying to kill Zeenat and frame Sahir? Maybe something happened between Zeenat and Vikram that turned their relationship sour and now he wants revenge
