Liked that zaki was back today! Finally they heard us and brought him back. Really enjoyed the light hearted scenes with zaki and KA. KA really loves Zeenat as it's shown and she has no idea what she is upto.

I guess it's Zeenat and Anam rather than Alvira now. I guess they changed the story since it's ending soon.

The leads looked good in the episode. HC really needs to cut that hair. It was all over the place I agree and i didn't enjoy the romantic scenes too much. The hair was bloody distracting. 😆

Happy valentines day all! ❤️

Ha ha...he truly is the sunshine! Could have kept the show so much lighter...😃

I hope HCs hair has more potential to actually look good than what we have seen on the show,...I mean it was positively BAD!!,

Couldn't the cvs wake up and smell the coffee when we were shouting our lungs out last 2 months making fun of the show through posts while they were busy showing KA nonsense and Zaki cheesy dailougs 🤢 well all said and done it's too late to do anything now just feel sad for the leads Harshad and Shivya who are doing thier best in the show 😭

Sorry I ranted again 🥺 just want to get it out of my system..

Anyways SAaz scene was so beautiful they were like little kids splashing water in the pool and love how Aarzoo was getting Saahir to relax and make him put his head on her shoulder... beautiful 👏

Also rather than playing out zaki and saaz love triangle had they played out Zeenat angle the show ratings would have increased for sure..

Let's see how cvs wrap up the story in next 2 weeks 😊

Hi Llin...they still have to resolve...Zeenat Sahir and Arzoo issue...Saahir has to get divorced to Zeenat...and free himself of this mess...it would be important to the likes of me...even if the show was to go on...I would still have liked Saahir to take immediate steps to divorce Zeenat...

Why wouldn't these scenes get the needed try ... The story need not be so intense that viewers cannot relate or get fed up when it dragged on and on ...viewers want entertainment...light moments ...Simplicity of life something which they can relate to ...
I remember during IPK days from kids to elders enjoyed Khushi and her antics though sometimes it was OTT .
Zaki , K A and Alvira scene was cute and past unfolding gradually...like expected zeenat was cheating on sahir..

Swetha beautiful collages dear .hope gul learns from her mistake .

In blue,
Yes...that was so much fun...lot of people tuned in just to watch that...😃

In bold...a couple of other shows that are running for so long...are so good at not having any real story...but just a cast of characters and their interactions...

Hi, I'm late. I wanted to comment on your post " message about humsafars ", I'm posting it here, I hope it's ok.

What I (used to ) like about Humsafars.

The promo got me here, the first promo where Arzoo takes her mothers name as her surname ! It got me with " finally someone got my point " ( hey I'm a daddy's girl but I feel mothers deserve a lil bit of acknowledgment for brining the child in this world, totally MY OPINION ) and came the second promo, HC ! From there, there was no looking back.

The characterization of Arzoo Nausheen Khan was relatable (I'm NOT referring to Mrs Arzoo Sahir Chaudhary ) The girl abandoned by her father becoz of gender discrimination, the elder child hence the whole responsibility of her family, detached of thoughts on love becoz of what her mother experienced, never having celebrated her birthday from the age of 6 ! And her being in love for the first time, that was beautiful. I thought this girl equally deserved n " healing " !

Arzoo-Zaki friendship - it was like a breath of fresh air in the very dark mysterious NH filled with suffocation. She was modern in her thoughts , traditionally in values. He, a casonova, yet lovable! They cheered up each other whenever other is upset, brought a smile on each others face, rescued each other in difficult times, laughed together, cried for each other's miseries. I can go on nd on about their friendship, will never tired of saying how refreshing and endearing it was !!! The small glance at each other n dining table in yesterday's episode, I miss them ( since I doubt we will ever get to see their friendship back to normal, Mrs SAC wouldn't want it as her hubby dear will get upset to see her talking to a man other than himself) still I wish to get a scene of Zaki-Arzoo of 2014, can I ? I know the answer.

Zaki - He was an amazing friend, a BFF to Arzoo ! A loyal and rightful brother ( in law now ) more than anything, he was a man of his words, neither pretentious nor selfish! He knows she didn't love him, but didn't hold any grudges against her !in fact, he understood her feelings, didn't play with her feelings (point to be noted ) and tried to get her out of the big trap she was being pushed in. He considered her his Best friend first then anything.

HC - it was obvious, he is a tremendous actor, I knew it from long ago ! Harshad as Raghav from his previous show got my applauds. There could be only one SAC, that is Harshad Chopra. Definitely watching his next !

Vibhaji - there was always something mysterious about Alvira, she made the viewers feel it without any direct words.

SaAz - I liked their interactions pre-birthday celebration. And I think no point in elaborating the present and the fashion house to sugar factory !

Excellent write up...Rosh!!

Like Red has also indicated before, when the show started...Arzoo attracted my attention...as a confident, modern, heroine...who was border line feminist...just the way I liked her...so clear was she in her position and stand...it was a breath a of fresh air...but she was also young...and naive in many sense...which made her even more interesting...her self confidence and pride in who she was made her stand out...so did her impulsiveness and short temper...she felt real...

Even Zakis character I related to a lot...he was honest, respectful, despite his multiple affairs...he didn't come across as someone cheating women...or taking advantage of them...his relationship with Arzoo was really special...I totally loved how much trust and honesty was there...even thought it was far from romance...perhaps better because ...

Unfortunately despite Hatshad being a good actor...I personally had trouble connecting with Saahirs character...his self mutilation, his reference to this dard...that I had no clue about, his lack of any values during the deal track...his dubious feelings about Zeenat...his easy references to Arzoo being a god digger on one hand...and not having any realization when she refused to marry him...his tactics to get her to marry him...all contrasted with his fairness at times, his care to protect Arzoo by taking a bullet...his dialogues about honesty...all of it was very inconsistent and left me confused about where he stood...although for the purpose of writing Sushpectives...I tried to ignore the inconsistencies.....there is no denying that they were glaring...

ANK ( Again not Mrs SAC ) is one character I will never get tired of talking about ( along with Zaki ) The responsible daughter, elder sister still had a child in herself, she was nave in her own way. The burden she was carrying didn't make the young 21 years old disappear. That we saw when she fell in love and tried her best to hide it as it could cause an embarrassment. That I found realistic and totally relatable, a delight to watch. And her short-temper and impulsiveness, a certain Rosh could relate to that very much😛. And one of other reasons that made ANK unique was her subtle sense of humor. In desi tele world, a bubbly character is often made OTT, which ANK Was NOT! She was anything but loud. When she fell in love, she fell so hard! ' It's my promise to you, to allah and to myself that I will love you, ONLY you whole my life ' these words are still ringing in my ears. I've never seen anyone expressing their love in such way, it was touching, romantic, subtle and promise of an undying commitment coming from a 22 years old! I will stop here, otherwise I will fill the entire page.

Zaki, I never understood why he was looked down as a Casanova. He was a flirt, Casanova NOT a womanizer! Like I said before Zaki-Arzoo friendship is something I miss so badly and I will cherish those memories! Right after commenting on your post I watched the scene where they go for a long drive to cheer up Arzoo who was upset. Their friendship was genuine, unquestionable trust they had in each other, whole world could question them but they never demanded a character certificate from each other! My face would light up whenever I see Zaki-Arzoo scenes of 2014.

Sahir, I appreciated him few times

When he investigated the stolen design matter
When he tried to teach Arzoo some business (the importance of branding), he was a good mentor to the inexperienced Arzoo.
  • When he openly admitted to her that he respected her for her achievements and her will power. For the first time a saw a ML praising Fl for her achievements in a desi show, otherwise its always about ' I want to thank my wife for taking care of my family and my family honor '

Otherwise if I look at the character sketch, the only thing I like about SAC is the actor! To be honest, I tried to empathize with him at first, but as time flied, you know what happened! Insulting her with the help of client made me give up! And the allergy thing left a bitter taste! Everyday i see people battling for life, repenting for their mistakes, wishing if they could have one moment to cherish their life. Here I see the man risking his love's life for a deal, inexcusable. i shall never go back and appreciate Sac, even if he takes hundreds of bullets for her. Yes I'm unforgiving to few things! What he felt for zeenat as a comatose wife, still a mystery!

Its very hard to find an ideal man in desi tele soap ! Yet i found one, Ragavendra Pratap Singh , played by the same actor. Ragav was a role model to the Young generation, epitome of right, no-nonsense type , loyal ,gutsy, fighting for what is right, lovable, giving, his love was unconditional though he secretly wished she could love him back. i dont have enought words to describe him. They killed him off ! Yet people ask why im very displeased at desi shows !

Friday's episode gave a clear picture of what they were planning in humsafars(before they got to know about the show going off air) that epic battle of No1 vs No2 ! I'm glad I don't have to witness that!

@Sush and @Roja

I completely agree with your take on the characters. I just wanted to add another quality about Arzoo Nausheen Khan which I loved. Although she had experienced so much pain in life she never used it as an excuse to hurt others or use people as pawns. She carried through life with a smile. In other words she was always presented as a fighter not as a victim.

But again I am talking about the umarried character no thoughts about the married one who is making me diabetic with all her over sweetness for no apparent reason!

I agree with every point you!
SAC I could never understand! While lalit was around he had a few very good moments where I liked him. But as a whole I couldnt connect with him overall.

atleast logical veiwers nevr wants ruthless n baseless tracks n drama that takes the show no where n finally lends up in an abbrupt ending😔
the shw i use to watch parichay had the same scenario, main leads were amazing show went good till half but then stupid tracks messed up all,if they had brought such good simple n subtle scenes before wid some sober track show would hv retained the veiwers interst !! simple as that

You know Pari, long time back while watching IPK ...I had a debate with someone...whose point of view was story is the King...and i felt...even in IPK...first 8-9 months of the show...when it was just a story about interactions between Khushi and Arnav...two very different individuals,...one filled with prejudices for the poor...and other...just being who she was...poor, but very charming, innocent and attractive...just trying to make sense of a guy called Arnav Singh Raizada...who was engaged to be married to another girl of his class, had expressed his contempt for the poor ...specially to Khushi many times...but yet was extremely attracted to Khushi...that chemistry needed no words...not even a touch...even a look or a flying dupatta was enough ...His actions started denying his words ...of hate...he broke his own image by mingling with KKGs family...so naturally...and with so much respect...he was the first one to help Khushi's equally poor sister to get married to his equally rich brother...As he fought his own prejudices and feelings...Coming finally to admit to his fiancee that his affection were somewhere else...There wasn't much story up to this point...and the change in perception and acceptance of his feelings was so delightfully represented ...taking their time...I have never waited for the next episode with so much eagerness and curiosity for anything as those first 9 or so months of IPK...

I think Seinfeld had it right...a show about nothing is the best show ever!

nice discussion going on.
now that we are heading toward the closure i feel CV's should try to focus on sahir character.things which were not explained and the loss of character connectivity which most people felt should be dealt.I understand that time is running out but as a viewer i hate being left with unanswered questions this is true esp with this particular PH. same thing happened with IPKKND with the ML quitting the show, his dark past story was compromised and left questions unanswered.
Arzoo is just another khushi. In IPKKND FL character was too butchered and more importance was given to arnav and his pain, his healing. and so on.it was always khushi who compromised with arnav .in fact i would say that khushi was married in a much more humiliating way and badly treated from arnav after marriage.
