Ashwin and Raman sharpened their ears.

Ashok Khanna' screamed the business reporter had decided to expand his enterprise and had acquired Events India and it was now meant to be part of the Ashok Khanna Enterprises.

Oh this is my Valentines day gift to my wife. She used to work there you know..everything about her is mine' he looked into the camera and he flirted; while Shagun smashed a glass in the kitchen at the Iyers. The Iyers were quiet they almost empathised with her frustration.

Ashok Khanna in his hurry to grow did few things right. He took over this company edging out competitors by simply paying a lot more than it was valued at. Events India had changed hands 90 days ago. Ashok Khanna bought over a company that was young energetic and ambitious quite like Mihika. The company he bought had investor and mentor Abhimanyu Raghav involved but not listed because he was just the guardian and the investments belonged to Nirvan Joshi a minor.

Ashok Khanna had to therefore sell off a few more shares than he could safely do, the merger brought in people from Events India who were not going to follow orders blindly. Suraj would be sidelined and Ashok was going to rely more and more on Mihika.

Pregnant Mihika as she falsely declared herself to be kept Ashok Khanna enticed with her act in the office and kept him away from her at home by playing the hormonal pregnant woman with endless craving for food.

Care for a Gin Ashwin' Raman asked in his living room.

I had no plans to be here this long ...have to meet my mother too I come down rarely, the Army keeps me busy and I do get posted across countries..

My specialisation is neo-natal surgery but I go wherever I'm asked to go a bit of a nomad.

Nahi I call her mad, but you can't ...tumhe chedthi nahi hai, she never talks back to you. Mhuje to katne ko daudthi hai..

Oh that's because she doesn't care about me and her worry drive is full. Continued Ashwin...But she loves you man ..i never thought I will ever see her like this, madly possessive, cheerful and so in love with her daughter and the dad!

Hummm who'll marry me ...i'm looking for a divorcee who's got an impossibly sexy body...and awesome' he stopped hearing the kids roll in with Mihir and Ishita.

Mihir believed Ashwin owed him an apology for Mihika, while Ashwin held him equally responsible. They did not get along with each other. He was still nursing the wound Mihiku inflicted and was looking for a shoulder when he saw Ashwin with Raman and hated that.

Adi walked to Raman and spoke to his father about his good showing. Hi 5ed Ashwin Sir and thanked him for bringing him home..meaning that night when he heard Ashok and Abhi talking of Adi and Shagun and their plan to outwit Raman.

Raman was glad about Adi, Mihir was surprised to see Adi, Ruhi, Sharavu and Ishita walk hand in hand to their room for a night out. Simmy and Ananya were out. Ashwin missed the tot and said so.

Mihir disliked the familiarity Ashwin felt with the family and attention Shagun gave him as she waltzed in with a fake smile. He felt small in more than one way!

He shouldn't Raman assured Mihir, who was not interested and preferred to head out. Ashwin took Shagun out for one more coffee late while Raman dumped his drink and rubbed his jaw waiting for his Madrassan.

She walked in sat next to Raman holding a model of some kind. She explained the project that Adi had taken in to school earlier, and had won appreciation for. Shagun was not next to Ashwin when he got back. He accompanied the couple on the sofa to peep at what was on display. Adi ran in happy to be discussed and proud to know he brought a smile on his fathers face.

Adi has great steady hands Ashwin may be one day he can be a fine neonatal surgeon like you' smiled Ishita kindly at Adi.

Really Ashwin Sir will I be a good surgeon you are so good I'm sure!' Adi asked his eyes sparkling with hope.

Oh beta Ish is being kind. Her job is a lot more difficult. I operate on babies that are still from anaesthesia. She digs into mouths of kids kicking and screaming. Actually, he has steady hands alright and is very quick and smart. Like his father. I'm sure he will like what his father loves - his business! Ashwin slipped it in winking at the adults clearly meaning Ishita.

Why did you just leave me there?? Shagun yelled at Ashwin as she walked in through the door.

You were with me but you were busy with the guy in his tux! Ashwin snapped.

Raman would have never done that...snarled Shagun to make Ishita miserable.

Exactly I will not wait for you if you decide to shift focus' he slithered.

Mom look at my project Adi tried to distract her.

Baad me beta Shagun clipped

Adi was heartbroken. Partly because Shagun did not share his big day with him but mostly because Ishita was where he wanted his mother to be. Beside him and his father holding his hand and wiping his tears.

He could resist neither his tears nor Ishita's kind hug. Raman looked on praying that his son would stay there forever!

Thank you my dear! Not sure if I mentioned it you are one of the reasons I got back to this..other than a few more.
