To prove that Ishita is such a good mother, is it required to show Shagun in such a way :

Shagun being outrightly selfish, who can just think about her own lavish lifestyle (today's scene was 🤢 , I felt it was just over the top.) No mother can do that only to attend a jewellery launch, She could have easily taken Adi along and then move to the restaurant from there with him. Just to show that their female lead is so good and is worthy of being a mother even though she has not been blessed by GOD to become one, shouldn't make them show that Shagun is just nothing.

Ishita is a good mother, we audience are aware of it. The way she take cares of Ruhi is proof enough for it and we also don't want Ruhi to go back to Shagun as Ruhi was left by Shagun herself when she was just 6 months old and Ruhi had the touch of mother's love only when Ishita came in her life, so Ruhi is actually Ishita's daughter only for this reason. (Shagun not having any kind of love for Ruhi and so using Ruhi for her selfish motives is acceptable as she wasn't attached with Ruhi in anyway - whether when Ruhi was in her womb for 9 months or when she took care of her for 6 months.)

Shagun neglecting Adi in such a way is just not acceptable as when she left, she herself chose to take Adi with her, which means she does love Adi, so showing her in such a displeasant way is really not required, just to prove that Ishita is so good. CV's can take another route which is more realistic.

Rather than Adi accepting Ishita as his Ishima, I would want him to accept her as Ishita aunty whole heartedly. I would like the CV's to show the viewers that a step-mom and step-child can also have good relationship. They don't need to have just mother and son relation between them. To show ease in relation, they need not show that the child needs to hate his mother and give his mother's place to his step-mom. He can simply accept his step-mom as his father's wife and part of his family.

To show that Adi has accepted the Bhalla family he doesn't need to stay with them in their house, it can be done with him staying in a different house also, but accepting the family whole-heartedly. and understanding that his family will always be there with him through thick and thin.

I feel CV's should have explored this area rather than showing Shagun so BAD.

A very valid point!
But it seems the CVs have started loving this tactic! They first used it to make Mani's entry plausible, by desrtoying Raman's character! Then to glorify Ishita-Ruhi bond they degraded all other! Now again to show Ishita as a great mother they are making Shagun a horrifying one! Shagun is a bad woman but she still cares for Adi in her own twisted way! There is no need to undermine one Mother-child relationship to glorify other!!!

Nice post

but shagun's character is portrayed in such way that her happiness is important rather than any relationship and the emotional bondings

She doesn't even let her brother to be happy by marrying mihika his love and stop the marriage

I doesn't think so she has taken adi with her out love and affection. She wamy to humilliate raman and destroy his happiness. If she really loves him she won't create hate in the minds adi towards raman because she also been bought up by a single mother and she is well aware of a fathers role in the child's life. even though she take adi with her she sent to boarding school becauae the present of the child affects her lavishing life.

It's not portrayal of good mother and a bad mmother. It'sjust a portrayal how a ppersoncan bbe jealous ams exhaust the feelings of the loved ones

Superb post 👏

Totally agree.

Now they show ishita doing few nice things go adi n adi will start hating shagun.

Why till now adi is not able to see good side of raman n bhallas ??? Why always ishita has to come in picture? ?

Now ishita will expose shagun in front of adi then adi will start loving ishita 😲 but he will never see good father in raman till ishita tells him! What a joke seriously

Good post and lots of valid points by everyone! It would be nice to see Adi start caring for Bhallas and raman/Ishita slowly after realizing that his mother is flawed. She doesn't need to be evil for him to do that.

I think shaguns love for Adi is very twisted. Yeah she loves him but her love is very selfish. She took him with her but soon after put him into a boarding school. To me that signals that she wants him around for when she needs him. Even after Ashok dumped her, it was him assuring her and her relying on his words and affection. It's an immature type of love, not the type a good parent has.

In surrogacy, a mother hands over her new born to some other woman, that doesn't imply she cannot be a good mother, it is just the matter of attachement which you share with the child.

Shagun was able to leave Ruhi easily, the reasons were shown clearly in the initial episodes :

1) Shagun was forced by Raman for a second child, she was disinterested and so during 9 months and later 6 months, she must have not attached herself with Ruhi at all.

2) Shagun was already in a relationship with Ashok by the time she conceived Ruhi, so she must have felt it as an obstacle in her path to go to Ashok during those times and so was also not able to attach herself with Ruhi in anyway.

So leaving Ruhi was easy for her, as for Shagun, Ruhi was an obstacle always and not a child of her but Adi's case is different.
Shagun has been shown to be attached to Adi, so neglecting him gives me shock and makes me mad at CV's. 😡

Great post 👍🏼
I agree twith all your point
Cvs are making it a joke, seriously, for a person like me who had the chance of being loved by real mother and the one who took care of me
Both are differant and so their way of raising child, but really now it have become an insult.
Thats why i hate this adi ishima track so much
Previously Shagun had been shown even taking blame of amma accident on herself to save adi
Ishita is a good mother to ruhi we know
Now why she has to be so good, so perfect and unrealistic
I would have liked if they made ishita and shagun more humans and realistic becoz for now they both are just fairy and evil step mom of cindrella, simply two irrealistix character of a disneyland movie.
And coming to todays scene, firstly exuse of shagun leaving was really lame bcoz if it was a party then i am sure there must be non veg food there.
Secondly, come on adi is a 11 years old!! How shamefull!! My bro is only 6, if he was alone at home he wud have took a bread from shop, just remake hot the food, eaten on his own and even cleaned the table and washed his plate!!
Some 11 years old here pick their youngers sibblings from school and make them eat and sleep daily bcoz their mother is at work till late night
From least to least, adi cud have looked in the fridge there must be some food, and if he was so eager to eat non veg then simply ordered a pizza.
And he isnt so helpless or handicaped that he cant go to sleep in the room where shagun stay if he felt sleepy being 11 years old.
This scene looked as if adi was 4 years old.
And shagun was just a teen baby sitter not interested to take care of him.
And ishita, offcourse, no offense i call her devi, bcoz no human can be PERFECT like she is shown, they have made joke of the character, so devi come dream that adi didnt eat , bring food for him and went to give him
I want Adi first of all to accept Raman as his father and then Ishita as only Ishita anty, there is no need of this irrealistic stupid ishima adi track.
