That was all down to Star Plus. Star plus at the time (I don't know about now) wouldn't allow for excessive violence as is used in QH. Infact especially at the start, Star plus had a lot of imput on what they could show and apparently the dori scene at the start of the show was meant to be a lot worse but Star Plus made them tone it down and also told them to have Khushi open her hair after Arnav broke her dori and they wanted to add that as a way for her to hit back at Arnav and not let him harass her. So basically Star plus had their limits on what they'd allow to be shown and tbh I think because of it there wasn't a lot of violence on IPK and not that much negativity as well compared to QH.

Also about the replacing thing and Arnav not dying but instead the show ending, that was also all down to Star plus as well after there were complaints.
