Food for thought: Ekta Kapoor	Eating out of her hands? Anuj Saxena

On Sunday night, Balaji czarina Ekta Kapoor was spotted dining with actor-producer Anuj Saxena at a Juhu nightspot.

Last heard, Ekta was furious with Anuj for walking out of Kkusum and launching his own production house, Maverick.

So has the duo's cold war ended? Or is this meeting to do with the television awards both are organising this year?

It's common knowledge now that Ekta has barred Balaji actors from

participating in Anuj's awards gala. But like it happens in the soaps, anything is possible in tellyland!

'Khwaish' is Pakistan first legal Indian serial

Balaji has launched new television soap Khwaish incidentally is Balaji Telefilm's first serial directed for Pakistani audiences, where it is currently on air on PTV.

The show was soon launched after the success of Balaji's former serials Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Khwahish has been shot extensively in Dubai.

The story is about a Pakistani girl Afreen hailing from a traditional family who goes to Dubai and the twists and turns that come into her life after she falls in love. The show will go on air on Sony from 16 July on weekdays between Monday and Thursday at 7:30pm.

This will be for the first time that Balaji will air the program in a non-prime time slot. The target audience for the show will be women again. Ekta's return to Sony has put to rest the cold war between her and her ex-employee, Sandip Sickand. Balaji's head Ekta Kapoor has also joined hands with Sanjay Gupta's 'White feather productions' to make reality shows. However, the project is now just in its nascent stages.
