This is really over the Top.
Only one woman wanted this ( for Anu and Rajat to part). And so many people
have to suffer ,sacrifice and lose their joy for Minty's happiness:
Anu, Rajat, Neel, Devyani, peeya, Veer and his Mom ( who had nothing
to do with this) and even Shastriji ( whose first choice was Rajat
before Minty gave him a heart attack)
Why so much importance to one character?
Because she is the Boy/Groom's Mum?
This is irritating, depressing and feels like a case presentation against arranged marriages.

Agree with you Minty went to high levels of selfishness..emotionless ..and dumbness too. Coz by telling Aastha about Anu's engagement she dig her own grave by her hands . Now that Aastha revealed Anu's past..Veer won't marry her..so she'll be back to Rajat's life.

I dont know what kind of love is this?
Minty says she loves her son Rajat, while she herself is snatching her son's happiness, his love from him.
A mother cannot be so selfish..

I dont know why do CVs portray mothers like this.
This is ridiculous.

I agree absolutely with the bold part. However, I have known Mothers who
cause great stress and permanent damage to their sons and daughters-in-law's
lives out of nothing but jealosy but to be honest, such Mothers' sons also have
a bit (or more) of their Mothers. They are not as sensitive and sensible as Rajat.
This is what is making it look really odd. also, if Rajat is so sensitive
how come there is no single scene where he asks her to stop her
hate campaign or atleast to stop verbal onslaught on Anu?

@red..very true ..
Exactly.. She can see that her son is completely broken but she is smiling 😕 which type of mother she is ?? It looks like her own happiness, her desire is more important than her son's..😕

She is busy to taunt shastriji and anu nowadays only..

The jealous type who thinks Mother-son relationship is the only honourable relationship
in her son's life, wife is cheap, unimportant and completely replaceable.

Exactly. Don't know why Anu keeps saying she( Anu) gave him sorrows.
I think it is Minty who is giving everyone sorrows and she is the only one who is smiling.

Hi All,

What I fail to understand is why she has such an intense hatred towards Anu and the other sisters.
I agree that sometimes we come across people to whom we are not necessarily inclined to like even though they have been perfectly nice to us but that does not mean that we hate them.

Minty's feelings for the Shastri Sisters have spiraled out of control. The dislike she harbored for them turned in to pure reckless hate. What kind of a mother is she? she has become so blind in her hatred that she cannot see her own son's misery. What kind of mother will sit back and let her own child suffer only to satisfy her own baseless desires.

A mother is someone who would do anything and sacrifice everything for her child's happiness. So Cvs I am asking you what kind of message are you sending out by creating such a character.
