There are so many things in this show which, after so many years, are still in their babyhood and have not been developed. For example:
1. After so many years of marriage Anjali and Taarak Mehta have no kids, There have never been talks about it in the show. The mahila mandal meets everyday and discusses on so many topics, like their husbands, food, relative and sari sale but no one has ever talked about it. I want to ask CVs, why is this topic untouched so far?
Tapu sena kids have grown so much since the beginning but never they ever never shown anjali and taarak planning for kids. Atleast they could have shown something in regard to that.
2. No love lost between Krishnan aiyer and babita: How can someone be in love less marriage for so many years and that too without kids? We know they care for each other and go out and look like any normal man and wife but there's no chemistary between this couple. When babits returns from singapore with other gokuldham members and aiyer comes to receive her, we see they both are happy to see each other but there's no romance at all. I know that TMKOC respects the indian culture and values and thus doesn't showcase the public display of affection but what about the love which even eyes can reflect? They look more like friends than a married couple.
3. Popat lal ki shaadi: We all were super excited when bulbul made her entry in the show. we almost thought that this time popat ki shaadi ho jayegi but NO 😡 it didn't happen and once again CVs cheated on us. Why the hell can't they show poptal lal getting married? What's the problem in it? Ever since popat lal's chrachter has been introduced, he has shown desperate for getting married and with his desperation we all have somehow empathised. But CVs couldn;t find him a gurl. So many times his alliance was on the verge of getting fixed but later shown broke mercilessly. It kills the thrill seriously. We know that the best comes in the last but Asit Modi must understand that if he keeps on pushing the limits of the loyal TMKOC viewers, the limits will soon break for sure.
4. Nattu kaka ki pagaar: Each time Jetha lal is happy, nattu kaka takes advantage of it and indirectly tries to convince him to give him a raise in his salary. But either Jetha is reluctant to give him increment or he doesn't have proper funds.
As they are not adding new plots in the serial nor are they developing any character, it's high time that they show a leap in the show. Leap may help in lost charm and glory of the show, which it used to have once upon a time.
