Few points to note...

1. Sanam repeated so many times, "Allah always helps the good"
Then why kill Rehaan? Doesn't make sense!
They've killed that silly Faiz so many times he doesn't die and poor Rehaan gets one shot and he's dead!

2. I thought it was strange that seher was dressed up like a bride. First I thought she'd meet Rehaan at the mandir and surprise him with "let's get married". Then that didn't happen. And today Rehaan kept saying "biwi-jaan" which made me feel like "oh my goodness they got married and consummated the wedding!" Now hundred percent they got married cus otherwise she wouldn't put kumkum plus they 100% consummated cus that way Rehaan can come back in a leap. But that would mean tanveer's daughter would be 40 by them hmmm

3. Loved loved that Tanveer was all broken up about Rehaan. It was retarded that she got her sight back but they didn't make a big deal about her seeing her only son for the first time! Today when she lost it after shooting him I finally felt her in pain and the music was gorgeous plus her acting was amazing.

4. Ahil definitely did not hear anything today. Their acting is so good but the plot is getting flimsy. So they're acting the right way but because the writers wanted the scene dragged out, the expressions and words didn't flow. Like Suleimanchacha goodness why didn't he just say what he had to instead of dragging and dragging!

5. I feel like seher will kill Tanveer but Ahil will never know Tanveer's truth. The whole show is over once he knows so I don't think they'll solve the mystery. If he knows the truth why would he accept Tanveer's daughter so definitely he'll never know her truth

6. This new Sanam my goodness they made her really cold. She just murdered someone today no remorse. Then the way she told Tanveer about Rehaan, again no remorse! Wow!

Seriously rehan died in one bullet shot & that too when a human beings heart is on left side & they have showed his bullet shot on right that too in the are which is anatomically away from heart. Few humans does have right side heart called as dextrocardia. Even if rehan is dextrocardiac as I mentioned he got shot in the area away from heart. When sanam was saying Allah supports good why Does rehan & chacha deserve this death?

Part of me thinks that he did somehow hear Tanveer's name. Other part thinks just like you, that he didn't. Because it would be over once he finds out, plus it would go into how he may accept the daughter quickly and easily.

That being said, I think it's also possible that he did hear it. It's hard to say. The acting and editing and direction was kind of mixed. There definitely was a look which seemed much more different at the End. But at the same time, during the whole time he had this shocked look...Though his look at the end does indicate maybe he did hear the name.

If he heard the name, climax and denouement will come rather quickly. And somehow they have something in store for a refresh. And he could still accept the sister as it's still Rehan's sister. Plus, it's still his "Ammi's" daughter.

Rehan's death, creatively it does make sense. It makes the most impact. They realized it would have the impact on everyone involved. From Monday's episode onwards, it's clear it was leading to his death. Even earlier with Sunheri, it's ironic now the scene where he tells first tells her he is going to Dubai.
