As for Adi, I don't think he's in any position to hold grudges anymore. YRF isn't what it was a few years ago. UTV, Dharma, Nadiadwala, Balaji are all competing for the same few young stars who make their small/medium budget projects viable.

Adi, being a smart man as he is, has probably realized that he's going to have to keep his ego in check unless he wants to keep working with the Ayushman's and the Saqib Salim's instead.

But having said this as many in this thread have pointed out...AdiC doesnt have options if he wants a relatively successful young male lead. His favorites Ranveer and SSR are busy. He wont go for SidM or Varun till they reach superstardom. ARK is there but he dissed YRF thru his PR so not sure if AdiC will forgive that already. So he might have go with Arjun only IF this film is getting made.

What did ARK say about YRF? Was it along the lines of what Parineeti said about DEI, that the cast should have been older?

Considering who his brother is does ARK really need YRF? He is probably the only one who can afford to say whatever and still have a career, movies flopping notwithstanding.
