The Love Knot
It was an early summer morning when the
scorching heat outside was boiling everything
out in the sun...the temperature was intolerable
to have a glance outside,and when everyone was
busy complaining about the whether...
Sanyukta was busy in her own dreamworld till 10 a.m...
Sanyu? Sanyu wake up please' she could hear her
mother trying hard to wake her up,but in vain,
she wasn't even ready to move from her sleep...
Uurgh mumma please 2 min more' she
mumbled in her sleep,
Sanyu its 10 am please wake up' her mother
insisted and finally she sprang up on her bed
rubbing her eyes...
Mom why did u wake me up this way? I didn't
even complete my sleep' she complained as she
saw her mother going through the wardrobe,
Dey will be here by 5,and its 10, u need to
look presentible dear.. she said as Sanyukta
looked at her baffled,
Presentible? Mom don't tell me u are going
to auction me like our old house' she smirked,
Gosh Sanyu grow up,a family would be here by
5 pm,and u need to get ready for them' her
mother spoke up as she took out the black and
white net saree adorned with a black brocade,
U are planning to send me to a jail?' she
grimaced,
Sanyu we are thinking to get u married now
hurry go and get ready' her mother said as she
left her room...

Sanyukta knew she had to face it someday as she
neither had a boy of her own choice nor she
ever wanted to be in love and to break her
heart. But though it was known to her, she
never thought that this day will knock at her
door so soon. She sat over her bed nervous and
tensed at the same time thinking of the coming
events that she will have to face...
What will I do I can't understand' she said over
the phone . She believed that her best friend vidhushi had every solution of her problems and
hence she was her saviour,
Relax babes, its just a meeting u aren't getting
married right away' Vidhushi said,
But still, umm can you please come over to my
place I need u' Sanyukta spoke out gadding around
her room,
Sure babe I'll be there in an hour just don't
worry chill' she said as they disconnected the
call...

As planned Vidhushi was there in an hour which was
indeed a great relief for her, she rushed to
Sanyukta's room and found her sitting by the
window staring outside,lost in deep thoughts,
'Ahem Ahem' Vidhushi cleared her throat as her
attention shifted towards Vidhushi who stood beside
her,
Thank god u are here m so tensed' Sanyukta
exclaimed,
Babes come, sit down'
M tensed' she mumbled fidgetting with her
hands,
I know,relax Sanyu just meet him, who knows he
may be the one you have been searching for'
Vidhushi smiled at her as she got herself busy in
selecting accessories to go with Sanyukta's attire
while Sanyukta sat dumbstruck thinking of what Vidhushi
just said,.
