Sarita seems happy that Anjali is now free of marrying Vidhaan as she seems to like Aakash. Even though as far as I recall, Anjali didn't discuss her feelings in detail.
It's very mature and considerate of Sarita to not blame Maithili at all. Any other Indian parent would definitely have held Maithili responsible for breaking the engagement.
