Is it morally, ethically right to save a criminal even if he is a close relative?

I never thought Alok was this sacrificing type. I think since KB tracks are closing, they want to make Anoop to have a change of heart and that's why this sacrifice by Alok. Anoop will accept his mistake and go to jail. Rest all will head for Singapore. If directly anoop was implicated then he will never change.

I do not even call it balidan. Shielding a criminal is criminal act. However, seeing discussion in the forum- perhaps this so called balidan will be praised by every one (in the serial) and Anoop will have a change of heart. Anoop may or may not go to jail - nobody connected to Anandi completed jail term (except Khajan Singh - but then Bilaria people were not really made Anandi's family as much as BH and KB people). Jagya committed many offences - but escaped jail term and now nobody even remembers that those cases were not even followed up. Sanchi was not even tried for attempted suicide and lying in court. The list is long...

If there is change of heart, logically anup should spend some years in jail. No shortcuts.

Jagya also had a change of heart - he was free within days...
