Salman Khan Threatens to Walk Out of Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi'?

Salman, who sees abusive jokes in public as an offense, was furious over the obscene language and content of the show that was held around mid-December, last year, in Mumbai and was attended by 4,000. An FIR has also been registered against the celebs for indulging in obscene behaviour in a public place.

"Salman doesn't entertain or tolerate any kind of chichoraapan (indecent behaviour) in public. He does a lot of mazaa-masti with friends in private. But in public his conduct is impeccable." a close friend of Salman told Deccan Chronicle.

There were also reports that the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor was offended when his family was dragged in the show and made fun of. However, the portion was deleted from the video before it was uploaded online.

Further, the participation of the Dharma Production head in the show has hurt the "Kick" star to the extent that he even threatened to opt out of "Shuddhi".

"Salman called Karan. He told Karan in no uncertain terms that he found the humour distasteful and unacceptable. He also threatened to walk out of Karan's film Shuddhi." the source added.

"Shuddhi" has been in the news ever since the idea of the project was conceived. Initially, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were signed in to play the leads. But, as the production got delayed, Roshan opted out of the project. Later, Kareena also backed out. Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's names were also associated with the project.

Apparently, Shah Rukh was upset with Johar's teaming up with his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Salman. There were also reports that the "Fan" actor who has delivered some superhits along with Johar has distanced himself from the ace director due to the latter's closeness with the "Being Human" founder.

This will be the first time that Johar and Salman have teamed up after their 1998 superhit "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998) and the actor-director duo were reportedly looking forward to creating another blockbuster with "Shuddhi".

But now, with the "Dabangg" actor's warning, it appears like Johar and Salman's friendship as well as "Shuddhi" are in trouble.

Yes the AIB was in December and aired 1/28/15

If Salman had never revealed that he is in the movie we would still be speculating abt the cast 😆
