Trained vs. Untrained?

Are trained singers better than untrained singers? I think that it all lies in the voice that they have and the passion with which they sing their songs, but being a trained singer seems to carry a lot more weight.

Traninig gives more finesse. BUt there are many untrained singers who have an inborn talent that even trained singers can't match.Singers like Kishore and KK - both untrained singers. Training gives the singer good kno-how of all the technicalities to do with music..but a good singer has the have that in born talent too.

I personally go by what pleases me the most without looking at the singers credentials.

personally i dunt think it matters if ur trained or not...but obviusly those who r trained hav a slight edge cuz dey hav more knowlege of music...sur n all
