Kareena, Karan to paint for Dino Morea!
Actor Dino Morea has launched his own production company called Clockworks Films. And as his first project, Dino will be producing a paint commercial with Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar.
"We will be filming on Aug 25th and 26th in Rajasthan for the ad. I'm quite excited as Karan will also be in the star cast…as in before the camera. I'm sure it's a going to be a lot of fun on the set," says Dino, "But in addition to that I'm also very close to finalizing another deal. I have a TV project conceptualized to be presented. So yeah fingers crossed…"
From ad films to movies, the actor is looking at a whole gamut of opportunities for his company. Morea says six years of being in the industry has allowed him to see things up close and personal and he hopes to put all of that into use for Clockworks Films.
"We intend to make ad films, content for TV and ultimately films. Even before I got into films I've always been someone who looks at the bigger picture. With our industry doing so well at the moment I felt this was the best moment to start my company," says the actor.
Dino has two upcoming releases – Anamika and Bhram. He says both the movies take a look at relationships and were quite challenging him for him when he was filming. "Anamika is a drama based on relationship. Set in Rajasthan, it is being directed by Anant Mahadevan. My character is of a person who lives in Rajasthan and comes from a royal family. He wants to change his palace into a hotel. I take a girl back from Mumbai to Rajasthan and she gets lured by another woman who also lives in the palace. It is a very different kind of thriller… I'm really happy with that film. I also have Bhram that stars Sheetal Menon. And that again is a film based on human relationships and emotions," he says.
Speaking of films, Morea says he is quite keen to read scripts for his production house. "For me the script is the most important part of the film. Therefore I'm asking anyone who has a strong script and wants to make a movie to come and find me. I'm sure I will support the new talent. When I was starting out I made a lot of mistakes as I didn't have anyone guiding me or giving me an opportunity… So I would like to give newcomers a chance which sometimes I didn't get when I was starting out!"
