I have seen a few debates on this forum RE Sanam 2, Seher and also Aahil. Who had it worse, who deserves sympathy and who dosent etc.
I dont want to discuss Aahil or Seher here coz I have said my piece on both and I think they both had difficult childhoods and issues that led them to become the people they did. Sanam 2 also has her reasons. But this post is about why I dont sympathise with Sanam 2.
My reasons are as follows:
When she first came to IM, I did feel sorry for her. She was used by Tanveer and promised a better life and a happy existence, which she was NEVER going to find here. She was also conned and I felt bad for her. Then she came to know the reality, that Aahil was conned into marriage with her. So right from get go, she knew he never "Chose" her. So that was the first indication to her that he has been a victim of a conspiracy.
Then enter the 1st wife. Sanam Raza Ibrahim Nee Sanam Ahemed Khan. She then found out Aahil's first wife is not gone, but in fact very much IN the picture. She soon came to know that she has been unwittingly used to separate Aahil from his first wife, and all this is the scheme of his Mother Tanveer. Sanam was shown the door, and she was asked to leave. Sanam 2 at the time felt bad for her. Soon it was clear that Sanam had no intention of leaving her husband, and this was all the machinations of her Mother in Law who wanted to replace her.
Sanam 2 finds out about the twins and helps them, She says she realizes she was about to commit the sin of separating Sanam from her husband. The twins trust her, and think of her as an ally. They think she understands the situation and has no intention of coming between SAHIL. So Sanam naively trusts her and gives her some status as well. Because she thinks of her as Tanveer's victim, not as her Sauten. (BIG mistake).
Enter Aahil, and he was giving clear indications of a man scorned. He calls his first wife a servant and "Pretends" to give his second wife status as his new wife. Now Sanam 2 can see this is all an act on Aahil's part, but she soon starts getting carried away by it. I BLAME Aahil for this. But I suppose heartbreak can make people do stupid things. We will sometimes harm ourselves to make our lover jealous or make them miserable, without counting the cost to ourselves! (THAT is what Aahil also did, and now he is paying for it!). If that justifies Sanam 2 acting as if she can now use that as a license to come between SAHIL, so be it. But that does not justify it. She knows Aahil's state but she dosent care.
Now comes the situation we are at. Sanam 2 resorts to black magic to endear herself to Aahil and to keep Sanam away from him. She pretends to be this innocent doll in front of Aahil, and only shows her true face to Tanveer and the twins! So THIS is where I lose sympathy for her. IF as people claim, she is fighting for her rights, then she could easily have gone to Aahil and spoken to him frankly. Told him that she wants to know where she stands and what her actual status is? She wants him to decide what he wants, because she wont be used as a means of making his first wife jealous, when he has no intention of giving her the status of a wife. She should have told him she deserves better! For those who will say she didnt have the guts to do that?...Well for someone who can do black magic on a man and pretend she had sex with him, can have enough guts to speak her mind.
She appears to have NO issue in shamelessly bringing up her night at a motel with him in front of his first wife. So I will not accept she would have been unable to be frank with Aahil about her situation. Had she wanted to fight for her rights she could have been direct about it, instead, she is acting like a Bimbo, crying to Aahil saying "You slept with me and now ignoring me!". It is THESE acts of hers that make me believe she deserves no sympathy anymore. I said it before, and I will say it again, women who LIE that a man had sex with them when he didnt is a cheap women. A prostitute has more self respect than such women. If she wanted justice, she could very well have demanded it! But instead, she decided to do black magic and then lie and con Aahil into accepting her. She also treated Sanam who trusted her in a despicable way, by throwing the fact that she slept with her husband in her face!
I know people blame Sanam saying she Accepted Sanam 2. I dont think she ever accepted her as a Sauten. She just wanted to treat her with respect coz she didnt blame her for the situation created by Tanveer. She thought as another victim of Tanveer, Sanam 2 deserves her allegiance. But Sanam 2 used that against Sanam, so to me she deserves no sympathy at all!
