Abhishek, Aishwarya catch a screening of Big B's 'Shamitabh'

Abhishek and Aishwarya caught a screening of their dad Big B's much awaited thriller movie 'Shamitabh' in Mumbai today. The star couple posed for the paps collected there and also mentioned that they were indeed bowled by Amitabh Bachchan's performance in the movie.

The movie written and directed by R. Balki features Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan. The film is jointly produced by Sunil Lulla, Balki, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, R. K. Damani, Amitabh Bachchan. Abhishek has performed a cameo appearance in the movie along with many other B-town celebs.

As for Aishwarya, she has started shooting for her comeback movie 'Jazbaa' by Sanjay Gupta.

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan catch a screening of 'Shamitabh'

Amitabh Bachchan caught a screening of his much awaited movie 'Shamitabh' in Mumbai today. He was accompanied by wifey Jaya, son Abhishek and DIL Aishwarya.

Big B also tweeted about this saying, "Back from the first trial public show of #Shamitabh .. the applause at Interval and twice at end of film says it all .. !!"

Shamitabh by R Balki also stars Dhanush and Akshara Haasan.

Aishwarya hugs Big B post 'Shamitabh' screening

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan got a hug of appreciation from his daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after watching the special screening of his film "Shamitabh".

The screening of the R. Balakrishnan directorial, which took place here Thursday, was attended by the Bachchan family including Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan along with Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, who also star in "Shamitabh".

In the photographs of the event, which Amitabh posted on his official blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, Aishwarya is seen giving a hug to her father-in-law.

Beneath the photograph, the 72-year-old wrote: "The appreciation of the daughter in law after the film is over."

It hit the screens Friday.
