Her films dont make the impact it made some years back. She is famous for her different films without big heroes its a matter of right scripts she'd be back in the game. Comparison with Ikon Sonam is dumb sonam and vidya have nothing common.

Vidya is an actor, not a superstar. There will always be a place for her in the industry as long as she is ready to accept and adapt to different roles. Despite being in a string of lacklustre movies, people still look favourably upon her, she has a solid brand attached to her name, and continuous presence in conversations about the best actresses in Bollywood. Good work stands for you and has a long-lasting effect that covers for experiments or mistakes until you hit another home run. So it's only a matter of time until one of her movies work at the box office or get critical acclaim and you'll see people nodding away, saying 'she was always solid.'
