For the uninitiated, Neil (Sumit Bhardwaj) has been in love with Devyani (Sonal Vengurlekar), but when he told her, she rejected the idea.Obviously, Neil was heartbroken but eventually decided to become Devyani's friend if not the love of her life.Shastri Sisters is currently witnessing a lot of tension, especially with Anushka (Ishita Ganguly) and Rajat's (Vijayendra Kumeria) marriage in the lurch. Ishita's sister, Devyani wants to help her sibling, but nothing she does seem to work in favour of the couple.Neil tells Devyani that no matter how hard she tries, there will always be troubles to battle, but that doesn't mean she should give up her smile and be tensed all the time. He tells Devyani that considering she has a great fashion sense, she should start some business in fashion products. This excites Devyani and she requests Neil to be her business partner. Now this could be Neil's golden opportunity to get closer to Devyani and spend some quality time with her.
