BalikaVadhu Times #30 | Death Ends a Life, Not a Relationship...

Jaitsar :

A fire starts in DS's godown due to a short circuit and Gehna is trapped. Niranjan rescues her and gets her to Hospital, putting himself also in danger. Gehna recovers, but he still remains critical. Finally he too is out of danger and with this incident all gets sorted out between Nandu and Niranjan. Nandu apologizes to Niranjan for his behaviour.

Jagdish acts proactive in catching LPS r/handed offering bribe to the Doctor to forge the DNA report. Finaly, LPS is proved guilty and father to Kusum's son , Shakthi. Media announces that his political career is finished which leaves him very angry. He comes to apologize to Kusum and wants to accept his son and take care of him. Kusum tells him she cannot forgive him and trust him any more.

Kusum wants to leave Jaitsar to do something for herself and her son, and to start life afresh. Jagdish tells her , he will arrange for a job at Vasanth Nikethan.

Ganga convinces V/Nikethan staff to take on Kusum as Anandi opened the school wanting every woman to do something for herself.

Niranjan and Gehna consummate their marriage.

Niranjan decides to go for Vasectomy as he wishes to be a father only for Nandu and Bhairavi. Gehna, upon knowing this, feels proud of him.

Udaipur / KB :

Shiv teaches Amol to ride a bi cycle.

On a temple visit, Anandi faints, and Anandi and Shiv get to know that she is pregnant. They are overjoyed. They take the blessings of Khazan. Upon confirmation from the Doctor, family congratulates them and bless them. Amol promises to take care of his siblings . Shiv takes care of pregnant Anandi. She shares the news with DS and Ds is delighted.

Anoop wants to use the room where Khazan is staying for his office. Daddu refuses and tells all not to hurt Anandi in any way, in her condition. Anoop's o/seas consignment gets rejected. He joins hands with Maheswari in selling stolen antique idols to make money.

Amol wishes for both a brother and a sister and later, Shekhars are delighted to know that Anandi is expecting twins.

Anandi, Shiv have a private time for themselves celebrating their impending parenthood. Shiv wishes, the babies will be named Shivam and Nandini resply, if they are going to be a boy and a girl.

Shiv takes the family to the fully furnished farm house and gives them a surprise. He tells them that he brought the land on Anandi's name and the house on Daddu's name. House warming ceremony is performed, and they all make plans to visit the f/house every weekends.

Differences between Alok and Anoop continue to simmer.

DS comes to visit Anandi and suggests her to be active physically., and also to be alert of DB.

DB influences Khazan's thinking about staying at his Daughter's inlaws house and so he wants to go back home., on the pretext of wanting fresh air. Shiv suggests he can shift to farm house.

Shiv gets to know from his staff that Anoop is involved in illegal activities. When he shares same with Anandi, she refuses to believe same. H/ever they decide to ask Khazan to keep an eye on the activities going on in f/house.

Six months pass, and Anandi's pregnancy progresses well.

Alok tells Daddu , he along with Ira want to shift to Singapore as he wants Anoop now to get all the attention , which he missed out on when he was away.

Shiv's friend Rajeev calls him and invites him to a wedding to meet him to discuss about a terrorist , currently hiding in U'pur. Shiv leaves behind Anandi who was feeling slightly unwell at home and arrives at the venue. He recognizes the terrorist, of whom Rajeev shows him a photograph and goes behind him. A fight start between Shiv and Rajeev on one side and the terrorist and his group on the other.

Anandi , unaware of all of this happening, is in her blissful thoughts of her babies , awaiting Shiv, decorating the room.

In the fight between Shiv and the terrorist , the terrorist pushes Shiv down from the roof and Shiv along with him pulls the terrorist's down Both fall down from top of building hitting critically on heads . The terrorist dies at the spot and Shiv is taken in critical condition to hospital. Anandi and Shekhars hearing about Shiv in hospital runs to hospital

Shiv is operated but he remains critical. The doctor encourages Shiv he can win this battle for life but Shiv knowing he does not have much time left wishes to talk to his wife . Shiv promises Anandi he will always be there with her and kids even if he might not be physically present with them . He asks Anandi to be mother and father both for kids . An emotional Anandi tells Shiv he will get fine soon Nothing will happen to him They recall their happy time spend with each other During this conversation Shiv breathes his last . Anandi shouts out for doctor Doctor checks Shiv and tells he is no more , he has passed away . Shekhars and Anandi are shattered

Jaitsar

Dadisaa is happily planning her school picnic with her family when she get Daddu's call who tells her the bad news Shiv has died . Dadisaa is shocked and shattered The phone drops from her hand. Jagdish takes the call and is shocked to know about Shiv's death. Dadisaa is shattered . Jagdish consoles her and gives her strength they have to go to Udaipur to attend Shiv's last rites

Udaipur

Shiv's funeral is brought at Kesar Bagh . Jagdish Ganga and Dadisaa arrive at Kesar Bagh to pay their last tributes to Shiv . Anandi cries hugging Dadisaa . Jagdish , Alok , Anoop and Vivek shoulder Shiv's funeral . Anandi wants to go along with them at cremation. Daddu gives her permission

Pandit gives Alok fire log to give fire to Shiv's pyre as his father but Anoop takes the log from Alok and himself tries to give fire to Shiv's pyre when Daddu stops him and tells him this is only Amol's right Amol being Shiv's son will give fire to his father's pyre . Anoop argues Amol is not Shiv's own blood but Daddu tells him it does not matter as Shiv has always considered Amol as his own son . Pandit agrees with Daddu Amol being Shiv's son has the right to give fire to his father's pyre Anoop gives the log to Amol. Amol gives fire to Shiv's pyre .

Back at home Subhadra makes a fuss that Anandi will stay like a widow and do all rituals of widowhood She even brings white saree for Anandi. Ira refuses . Ira and Daddu support Anandi she will not stay like a widow as her husband is martyred and a martyr is never considered dead and that Shiv's soul will be hurt seeing Anandi living a colorless life like a widow so Anandi will live like she always lived

At fourth day of Shiv's death , some women who came for mourning and prayer meeting question Subhadra about Anandi not dressed like a widow. Daddu hears their conversation and in front of everyone tells why Anandi will not stay like a widow and the family supports her in this

Rajeev comes to pay his tributes to Shiv and tells everyone how Shiv sacrificed his own life to save others . Gehna and Niranjan too arrive at Kesar Bagh. Gehna consoles Anandi

Singhs take permission to leave . Before leaving Jagdish assures Shekhars and Anandi for his forever support to them He tells Shekhars to consider him like their son too they can call him anytime they need any sort of help just like they used to call Shiv He tells Anandi although there is no need to say this but still never to consider herself alone they are always with her . Singhs leave from Kesar Bagh

Anandi tries to move on from the tragedy in her life after Shiv's death and tries to get back to her routine life by going to her NGO and complete her responsibilities there .Subhadra like always have her issues but Ira and Daddu support Anandi in this

Amol tries his best to keep his mother happy

Jaitsar

Singhs arrange for a special prayer meeting for Shiv . Jaitsar people assure Singhs they are with them and Anandi in this tough time to share their grief

One day Jagdish goes to visit girls under construction college to check college construction work and also to distribute blankets and other necessary stuff to laborers needed in cold weather . Ganga could not go with him as she has to assist two important surgeries at hospital. In hospital Ganga gets a call from Jagdish's P.A , who informs her about a tragedy that has struck at college site , a major part of building collapsed leaving many injured and Jagdish was there at that time but he is unable to get any news about Jagdish yet in which condition he is there . Ganga is shocked to hear this She tries to contact Jagdish again and again but his phone is not responding . Ganga runs towards construction site but her feet stop seeing wounded laborers being brought in Jaitsar hospital in ambulances , Ganga looks around for her husband among the wounded but he is not among them .Ganga prays for his safety . Ganga has to stay in hospital to assist doctors in giving first aid to patients but her mind and heart keeps being occupied with Jagdish's worry and she keeps praying for his safety

Dadisaa and Gehna come to hospital and ask from Ganga about Jagdish . Ganga in tears tell them she does not know anything except the wounded laborers here told her he was there at the time when this accident happened . Dadisaa gives strength to Ganga to have faith on goddess , goddess will protect Jagdish , she asks Ganga to go to construction site herself and find out about Jagdish . Ganga goes but stops seeing another ambulance arriving and gets life back in her seeing Jagdish coming down from ambulance with some injuries but nothing serious and asking the ward boys to take critical patients in fast . An emotional Ganga runs to Jagdish and hugs him . Jagdish assures her he is fine .

The incident shakes Ganga to the core as she was so close to lose her husband She thanks goddess for returning her life her dr sahab back to her , she cannot imagine her life without him . Jagdish gives her strength he is fine and that nothing will happen to him as her love and prayers are with him . He tells her his phone got broken in this accident therefore he could not contact her and rest he got busy in helping the so many injured there . Ganga tells him her condition she died 1000 deaths from the time she got the news of college building collapsing and he being there until she did not see him safe in front her . Anandi's recent plight came in front of her eyes and she got too scared , she has no life without him .Jagdish assures her he is fine and promises to her he will forever be there with her

Jagdish and Dadisaa wonder how the college building collapsed suddenly like this . Jagdish tells Dadisaa the builder is missing from the time this accident happened He disappeared because he must have done some messing around with the material used in construction of building ,anyways the police is investigating the matter . The inspector informs Jagdish that material used in construction of building was of extreme poor quality that's the reason building collapsed and they are searching for the builder , will arrest him soon

After some days the inspector informs Jagdish they have arrested the builder and he confessed his crime of corruption done in college construction and that he bought this corrupted material from LP Shrivastav's factories .

Udaipur

Serial takes a three month and new collector of Udaipur Vinay comes to Kesar Bagh and tell Anandi and Shekhars about Rajasthan Government honoring Shiv with an award for his bravery on republic day . Anandi and Amol receive the award on republic day . Anandi starts to have labor pains while giving speech as she was in her 9^th month of pregnancy . The delivery has to be conducted on stage with all women present in ceremony cover up . Anandi gives birth to a boy and a girl The mother and babies are perfectly fine

Jaitsar

Daddu calls Dadisaa and tells her the good news of Anandi giving birth to twins . Everyone is happy for Anandi

Udaipur

One day Anandi gets call from Amol's orphanage warden who asks Anandi to meet her at orphanage When Anandi goes to meet the warden , the warden introduces her to a couple Mr and Mrs Mehta who are Amol's biological parents and want their son back . Anandi refuses as Amol is only her son and no one can separate her son from her . Anandi leaves from orphanage in anger but warden brings them to Kesar Bagh and they request Anandi to listen to them just once , They tell Anandi and Shekhars how they lost Amol in a fair when he was just one year old , a lady took him from the fair and today after ten years they met same lady at the fair when she lost her own son and they found him and took him to her The lady recognized them and confessed her sin done to them 10 years ago she took Amol and later dropped the boy at orphanage as her in laws refused to keep the boy and that they were also scared if they returned the boy still the parents won't leave them but get them arrested . Mr and Mrs Mehta beg to Anandi to return Amol back to them She has her twins with her but they are childless Amol is their only child and they waited and prayed for his return since 10 years .

Anandi melts hearing their story and is ready to give Amol to them but Amol hearing all this refuses to go and cries he wants to stay with Anandi only . Seeing Amol's love for Anandi the parents let Amol stay with Anandi for his happiness

Jaitsar

Dadisaa and her friends decide to do something special at school function instead of singing . The seniors mock them at this but Dadisaa challenges them they will show them. Dadisaa with her group approaches principal and informs him they want to do something special other than singing this year . The principal suggest they can do a play instead . Dadisaa likes the idea . Dadisaa discusses with her family which play they should do . Gehna suggests Panna Dai , which Dadisaa likes . Dadisaa gives idea of Panna Dai play to her friends but she refuses to perform in play but she will only help in preparations of play , The family encourages Dadisaa to participate in play and do Panna Dai's role . Dadisaa finally agree on family's insistence and encouragement The family helps Dadisaa in play preparations and in her rehearsals

Udaipur

Dadisaa , Jagdish and Ganga come to attend Anandi's twins naming ceremony The kids are named as Shivam and Nandini the names Shiv has chosen for his kids before his death .

The scene was aired on 17^th January 2015. It is 8 minutes long.

The scene is played out between Shiv and Anandi just before Shiv breathes his last. 😭

Shiv had suffered grave injuries after a fall trying to catch a terrorist. Shiv had been operated upon and was lying in the hospital room with slim hope of survival.😭

A 6-month pregnant Anandi enters the room and is shell shocked at seeing Shiv in bandages. 😭She does not know what to say or think. With tears welling in her eyes she touches Shiv's face. Shiv is overwhelmed with emotions on seeing her. Both stare at each other for the longest time. With his right hand Shiv tries to catch hold of Anandi's hand. Anandi takes his right hand firmly in her own. A tear drops out of Shiv's right eye at the thought of what he is about to lose. 😭 Anandi understands the thoughts going through his mind and grips his hand firmly within both hers and takes it to her stomach so that he can feel the movement of his unborn children. Shiv inhales deeply and closes his eyes while sensing the movement of his kids. He gives a half smile while seeming to carress them. 😭

Holding on to his hand tightly against her face, Anandi sits down on a stool next to his bed tears flowing freely from her eyes. She does not say a word but just stares at him. Shiv breaks the silence and asks Anandi the reason for her not speaking.

Anandi voices her doubts. She asks Shiv to tell her whether there was anything she could have done to avoid this from happening. She asks him that had she gone with him or not insisted that Shiv go to that reception would this still have taken place. After all he had not been so keen. She was probably blaming herself for Shiv's condition. Her mind was thinking of the last moments that she and Shiv shared together before he left for the marriage reception.

Shiv understands her inner thoughts. He cups the side of Anandi's face with his hand and tells her that this was all pre-ordained and nothing she could have said or done could have reversed this from happening. 😭 He asks her not to feel guilty.

It brings some peace to Anandi. She tells him that she will fight fate and will not let him go anywhere. Shiv tells her that everyone has to travel the last leg of their lives alone and she of all persons understands that. Anandi is distraught and asks him not to say such things.

Anandi: Nothing will happen to you. My heart tells me that you will recover fully. The whole family and all citizens of Udaipur are praying for your recovery. The good lord has to listen to the prayers of so many people. And what will happen to me should something happen to you, how will I survive.

Shiv stops her and tells her that he does not have much time. He asks her to listen to him.

Shiv: You have always been a strong person. Now you will have to become stronger. You will now be responsible for keeping this family together. Our kids, Amol and the ones on the way, you will have to be both mother and father to them. And as far as I am concerned, I am always with you and with them. You will always feel me around you forever. I promise you.

Anandi again asks him not to say such things and that he will recover. Shiv then asks Anandi to tell him a story. Anandi is shocked. He asks her to tell him their story. The story of their life together. Anandi runs through the last years from the time he rescued her , their marriage, adoption of Amol, Amol's recovery and the moment he kissed his kids growing inside her just before he left for the marriage reception.

Anandi is weeping uncontrollably and tells him that Anandi cannot even visualise her life without Shiv. Shiv looks at her and thanks her. He tells her that he is saddened at the thought of leaving her. But it will be easier for him to leave while remembering the moments spent with her.

Anandi pleads with him not to let go of her hand and leave her alone. Shiv's breathing becomes heavier and moments later, holding on to Anandi's hand, he breathes his last leaving his Anandi behind him alone forever. 😭

The scene was played out on 14th January 2015. This scene is special for many reasons. This was the last time that Shiv and Anandi were together in person.

This was also the first time that both of them felt the kick of their babies growing inside Anandi.

Scene background: Shiv and Anandi were supposed to go to a wedding reception.

Shiv enters his bedroom to find Anandi not yet ready. He tells her that they have to leave soon and she must get dressed. Anandi says that she has not been feeling too well since morning, she is a bit tired. Would it be okay for her to skip the reception.

Then seeing Shiv's disappointed face she tells him that it would not look nice for him to go alone and that she will get ready in 10 minutes.

As she gets up from the bed with some difficulty, Shiv takes a step forward and cups her face with both his hands. Staring her into the eyes, he lovingly tells her that if her health is the reason for not accompanying him why would he feel bad. Calling her the mother of his unborn kids, he tells her to relax and look after herself. He would go alone. Anandi asks him whether he was sure. He says yes.

Anandi. giving her sweetest smile says "love you Shiv". 😳 Shiv in turn gently carressing her cheek says "I love you too" and he pulls her towards him to kiss her on her forehead. 😳Then gently running his hand through her hair, he says "Bye". Anandi too wishes him goodbye.

He turns to leave and as soon as he is halfway through the room, he stops to turn. Anandi is bemused and naughtily asks him the reason. Asks him what has he forgotten. Shiv tells her that he has said goodbye to her but not to their unborn kids. Anandi gives her most dazzling smile. And both laugh. 😆

Shiv kneels in front of Anandi and holding her tummy tells the kids that their Papa is going and asks them not to trouble their mom too much. He gives them a long goodbye kiss and carresses them. As he is carressing them, he and Anandi both feel the kick of their children. ❤️ Both look at each other in surprise.

Shiv stares at his hand with which he was carressing the children. And with a wonder in his voice he tells her that they kicked. He is besides himself with happiness.

He and Anandi are lost in the moment of feeling a movement of their kids for the first time. Shiv continues to carress his kids hoping for a repeat. He tells Anandi that now he won't be going anywhere and miss this opportunity of feeling his kids.

Anandi, holding his face, tells him laughingly that this is just the first time. There will be many other occasions for him to feel the movement of the kids.

And she asks him to go. He looks at her and asks her whether she is sure that he would get this opportunity again. She reassures him. Again running his hand all over Anandi's tummy he wishes them goodby.

He and Anandi again wish each other goodbye. As he is leaving, Anandi calls him and asks him to return soon. Agreeing HE LEAVES.

After he has gone, Anandi says, that Shiv, you may be a collector of this large city, but your heart is still like that of a child. Gentle, child-like, and you are also a bit crazy in a nice way.
