I don't know how to begin and what to say. Well, I've never written a fan-fiction on IF in consideration with the fact that I've never been able to associate myself and my writing with couples on whom the serials are based. Readers on IF have never been welcoming as far as stories impertinent to Indian shows are considered. That's a personal experience.

Writing didn't come to me naturally and it has only been a couple of years since I've added it to the list of the scanty things that give me pleasure amidst the chaos of life.

As for now, I have just the opening paragraph and a character but my mood demands me to post it away and I happen to enjoy my job as my mood's slave.

Also for the acceptance of this story by the members of this forum, I shall name the characters, eer, Raman and Ishita. 😳 That's just so damn difficult for me do act upon for the characters of the story have completely distinguishing traits and everything else. It's a horse of another color.

Anyhow here we go.

The synopsis:

"This is not a story of hatred to love or seemingly eternal sadness to finding happiness or pessimism to optimism but a story of allowing darkness to intensify and life to disappoint. A story of a girl who relished pain and a boy whose ineradicable struggle to mend her broken self lost the battle to the enigma's perpetual darkness. This is a story that praises failure, underestimates goodness and opposes almost everything that the mankind has been defending. It interrogates the answers to short and life-long questions about humanity. A story that ridicules happy endings."

If by any chance I get an affirmative response I'll update the post with the character sketches and a banner. The tittle shall be changed as soon as I come up with something more appealing.

Firstly, the temporary banner is flawless. An absolute stunner. Exceedingly well made, woman.

Coming to the FF, you've penned down things real well. You had me there in the synopsis. Gripping stuff and I would love you to continue this.

Introducing the e n i g m a.

"Her brain was a dangerous place where craziness, neurosism and loneliness were the only dark dweller. I'm not sure whether this labyrinth of untamed thoughts that had no ultimate conclusions apart from the one that pronounced her eccentric, was a creation of her own strange self or was a gift bestowed by you-believers-and-non-believers-both-know-who. Also not sure if I can call it a gift, what I'm sure about is the impossibility to put her bizarre thoughts, one that proved her existence, into words but I'll make an attempt to enunciate them, for better or for worse. After all she deserves to be the subject of someone's writing, we all do, in that matter.

You could often find her sitting in one of the corner of her class when the teacher was absent and the students bunking- wait allow me to find a substitute for this ethically-wronged word-got it, absconding. Lost in her macabre and insightful thoughts, she easily ignored the stupid world that surrounded her i.e those teenagers hyperventilating about the teacher's absence. Wait that is the epithet the enigma has accolad-ed the world with and hence possesses the copyright. This clarification was a pre-requisite in order to prevent myself from having to bare the repercussion in case any of you nature lover is offended. You'll see more of such clarifications in future as we make progress with the story.

Let me introduce her to you.

"Hey, Ishita, could you give me your science register so that I...", the boy was interrupted by the look on her face, that clearly suggested it was concocted with rage and anger for she was disturbed, and the raspy voice that completed the sentence "so that I practice plagiarism? No." The poor kid stood still in a state of bewilderment. He was startled by her rudeness however smart enough to realize he must leave before she further shocks him. "You're so rude", said the guy seated next to her. "Tell me something new."

Now that wasn't the kind of introduction I was going to give however it was highly expected and makes my job easier. Shannon was an exuberant student of 11th grade who was brilliant with grades and books but lousy with life, relationships, family, people, emotions and in general life. Let's hear it from her only "To say I've been lousy with life would be an understatement. I have a high respect for life and we've been screwing each other with consideration for these sixteen years at least."

She was the tallest amongst the girl. None could figure out the dreadful thinking process happening in her brain that was top-layered by her hair that were made into a bun , where she pulled back her blonde hair from her face, twisted or plaited them and wrapped them in a circular coil all neat and clean. She looked fine from the outside hence you may vindicate off all the blame for people not understanding her. She was an organized madwoman. Her grey eyes with an unfathomable emotion and the inscrutable countenance and woebegone expression wore by her made her and her life an abstruse philosophy, understood by none which includes her as well. She was an innately sad person and her melancholic personality was always in search of an excuse to be sad and life didn't disappoint her in this particular matter. Sadness bought solitude and appeasement to the madness in her soul. I heard her say this to one of her boon companion and I quote it because I shall never forget this "You know what is worse than being sad? It is being sad for inexplicable reasons. In such cases sooner or later comes a moment when you interrogate your sanity and come to realization that you've crossed the unfeasible line between sanity and insanity. The thin line between sanity and insanity is incredibly thin."

This is her story and I've tried my best to become a part of it."

Finally u updated..Fantastic...or beyond amazing. Details r amazing..way u wrote sadness and all laced with a great vocabulary is worth applause. I hope u update soon...Somaiyah. I love this ...cos life is not happy and u have to live it.

This was updated a day after the synopsis was posted.

What I did in here, to seek you reader's attention, is that I posted the part again.

I'm glad you liked it and I've written more, just didn't bother to update.

See the thing is, I don't have a story. This sounds crazy. 😳 I'll think of one.
