Was Ameesha Patel dropped from awards ceremony due to her ridiculous demand?

It has been years since Ameesha Patel has had a hit movie, but the poor actress seems to still believe that she is an A-list star. A recent story underlines this. Apparently Ameesha, who has turned producer with her latest film, had been invited to an awards show, however, she stumped the organisers when she demanded that in return for her presence at the event, she should be allowed to present the Best Actor trophy!
Shocked out of their wits, the organisers decided to drop her instead!
