Jake/Sam/Patrick/Liz/Carly: Helena's control over Jake's weakens and Sam gets closer to the truth about Jake being Jason . But Sam & Patrick are also growing closer. Liz is pulled back into Jake's orbit and so is Carly who is bouncing between Sonny & Jason

Nathan/Maxie: They are in a strong place but they're going to shake 'em up abit during sweeps #GH

Julian/Alexis : There is a strong pull there and they will be drawn back to each other during the prison break

Franco/Nina : Franco is Nina's white knight and does whatever he has to save her from Heather.

Ava : Someone is after her but will she escape unharmed ??

Anna/Sloane/Duke : Anna will go head to head with Sloane for her old job . Duke is also involved

Shawn/Jordan : Their both after Fluke but will Shawn find out that shes a cop ?

Johnny/Lulu/Dante : Johnny is not long for this world but he will impact Dante/Lulu before he leaves.

Nikolas/Helena : Nikolas is trying to be darker but does not want to cross all lines. Helena wants him to overtake ELQ but will he go that far

The only thing I would add is that with your specific examples I think the fact that the makers or banner of these films are/was Dharma, a very well reputed production house, probably gave the established actors piece of mind that it won't end up being some B grade flick.

In case of KKKG it was even being directed by Karan so I don't think SRK really worried about anything. Besides, Hrithik didn't show up till the second half. I don't think he has much to worry about with the upcoming Rohit Shetty film either with Varun.

As for Akshay I don't think he particularly worries about his costars. I always get the vibe from him that he just wants to do his work and go home. He seems to be the most drama free person in Bollywood.
