For the past two years, it was Aamir Khan who topped the list of celebrities whose films were eagerly awaited; however this year it is Shah Rukh Khan who gets a massive boost topping the charts with his eagerly anticipated film Raees. On the other hand, Aamir Khan surprisingly does not feature in the list, since the actor who is known for his one film a year policy does not have any release in 2015.

However, close on Shah Rukh Khan's heels is yet another Khan, namely Salman, who comes in second with his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan being voted as the second most awaited film of 2015.

Interestingly, both Khans (Shah Rukh and Salman) feature two films each in the top four most awaited films. This clearly indicates an impending tough fight between the two at the box office, with a high probability of all four films, (Raees, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Fan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo) making it easily to the Rs. 200 crore club.

Ranbir Kapoor, makes it to the list yet again with two films, Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos. Interestingly, while the same two films featured in last year's list, the apparent delay in their release seems to have hardly affected the films anticipation.

Akshay Kumar features in the list for his three releases, namely Baby (unreleased when poll was conducted), Main Gabbar and Singh Is Bling.

On the actress front, Deepika Padukone who featured in the list last year with just a single release in the form of Happy New Year seems to have returned with a vengeance. In fact three of the actress's films, namely Bajirao Mastani, Tamasha and Piku find their way into the list of most awaited films.

Priyanka Chopra also features as a strong contender in this year's list with two of her releases, Bajirao Mastani and Dil Dhadakne Do featuring in the Most Awaited films of 2015.

Alia Bhatt, who had a stellar 2014 with the release of 2 States and Highway, also manages to make it to the list with her film Shandaar that features her alongside Shahid Kapoor.

Newbie Kriti Sanon who made heads turn with her performance in her debut film Heropanti surprisingly features in the list with her film Singh Is Bling.

Production Houses:

Among the production houses taking the lead this year is Excel Entertainment with two films, Raees and Dil Dhadakne Do that are being produced under its banner featuring in the list.

Coming in second is the production banner headed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali that also features two releases, Bajirao Mastani and Main Gabbar.

On the other hand, Fox Star Studios that lead the charge last year has just one release in the form of Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet.

What's Not Hot:

Katrina Kaif, who once was one of the hottest most sought after actresses in Bollywood, seems to have taken a hit. In fact the actress has just one release Jagga Jasoos that features in the list of most awaited films, while her other release Phantom fails to make it in the list.

Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan also find places as the least hottest celebrities this year, despite Saif featuring in the film Phantom and Kareena featuring in the Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Possible Surprise Packages:

Each year we see a couple of small budget yet high on content films making it big at the box office. This year too we can expect a few surprises with Mastizaade and Brothers. While neither of the films can be classified as small budget, Mastizaade that features Sunny Leone is an out and out sex comedy which might just become the Highest Grossing 'A' rated film of 2015.

On the other hand, Brothers that is a remake of the Hollywood film Warriors, featuring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra is bound to pick up steam once promotions begin.
