abhi takes pragsy on "date", tells her taabhi marriage date is set, she is devastated
but instead of blaming him or getting angry or crying, she just sadly accepts it and says she won't cause a fight, they go back home quietly and for next few days they live as normal, she doesn't talk to him and she pretends to be happy for daadi and all family, meanwhile he's supposed to be planning how to deal with daadi and sarla and all
so yeah for few days pragya is quiet, keeps to herself, but tries to be his friend, and he is grateful about it so he doesn't get angry on her and he teases her a bit less, and yeah they're kind of friends
abhi feels bad he did this to her and he's stressed about how he can break it to daadi and how aroras will be upset about everything, but also he's a bit relieved, this chapter will finally be closed and he can move back to normal life and have tanu where she belongs
he's not spending much time with tanu though, she's busy with her parents and shopping and whatever, and he's too preoccupied with his thoughts and planning
tanu's parents leave and that night she feels lonely and moody so she demands that abhi take her out for dinner
abhi doesn't really want to, but daadi/daasi's are not on his case that day, he doesn't have any real problems to deal with, so he gets ready and goes
when he leaves pragya is just on the sofa with a book, she noticed him spritzing his cologne and all that but she only said "yeah, you have fun, maybe bring me a slice of cheesecake" and he left with a small smile or whatever
so taabhi get to the restaurant and they have their dinner and abhi's remembering he has to take home a piece of dessert for fuggy - if tanu complains he'll say it's for indu daasi - actually maybe he should get some for daasi too, maybe he should see if the restaurant will sell him a whole cheesecake...
tanu is blabbering on about wedding shopping and venues and who they'll invite and what kind of media deals they can get and maybe they can get a sponsor to pay for their honeymoon and all this stuff, abhi is not too interested, he's thinking about if daadi's health declines then he can't take a long trip, stuff like that
then all of a sudden the owner of the restaurant rushes by - earlier he had visited taabhi to make sure everything was good with them, gave special attention etc etc
abhi's eyes follow the rushing guy and he sees he's gone to meet a special guest at the door and is leading them to a nice table - abhi thought he had the best table but turns out there actually is a better one
and omg! the new guests! some guy in a suit! and FUGGY!! FUGGY IN HER WHITE SARI!! CAPTAIN FUGGY SARI!!
and like yeah raghya are there to have dinner, raghav came to town suddenly and did zidd that prags had to come out with him and dress up a bit because the the restaurant is nice, prags just grabs the most recent party outfit she had because she doesn't really care, but she wanted to enjoy the short visit with raghav
prags doesn't realize taabhi is there and she gets cozy comfortable with raghav, laughing chatting etc
they get dessert before dinner and abhi is scandalized that they're sharing cheesecake!
and etc etc abhi getting annoyed and confused
eventually dinner wraps up and everyone getting ready to leave
taabhi and raghya collide, words are exchanged
abhi ends up taking pragsy's arm and says they'll go home together, say bye to raghav here, and tanu too will have to go home on her own - when tanu throws a fit abhi fakes a message about daadi's health and says they have to rush, then even pragya too gets totally serious and wants to go home with abhi right away
and yeah on the way home abhi is interrogating pragsy about who is this raghav etc etc, and he's not impressed with her "just a friend" answer, meanwhile pragsy is worried sick about daadi
and finally abhi tells her daadi's fine, he just wanted to get away
and prags scolds him for saying bad things about daadi, heaven forbid etc etc
and abhi is not really caring, still thinking about the "just friends" issue
and he asks her "what, like how i'm you're friend!"
and then tension and eyelock and pragsy eventually quietly admitting no, it's not like that at all
and and I dunno what happens next! this was supposed to be a short idea summary and it turned into almost an OS 😆 but yah yah stuff happens, raghav as catalyst for abhi to rethink whether he's really ready to let pragya out of his life, etc etc 😛
