Introduction

Let's start with our lead Jallal-ud-din-Mohammed khan a famous business tycoon of the time , who is known for this punctuality and down to earth nature and this very quality of him had gotten him many friends .., and as well as enemies .. Sher-Shah-Suri one of biggest rival of Mughal empire..he was and as well he is enemy of Humayun (Jallal's dad )but Humayun never consider him as his enemy ( well will know about Sher-Shah-Suri latter part)

Coming to our Jodha.. She is a collegian.. Indeed very beautiful & not only beautiful .. A bright student too.. And well she too had many enemies.. uff don't worry the enemies she had wasn't like Jallal.. Lack of patience, stubbornness is her enemies and yaa.. I forgot to say the biggest enemy for her.. her angry.. and because of this very quality she never accepted or compromised on anything doesn't matter whatever it takes..

Chapter 1

Story begins with the marriage of Jodha and Jallal...where both didn't wanted to get married ,but Jodha had agreed for marriage by her parents force .,whereas Jallal was getting married due to for his parents wish..

Marriage was held very grandly ...all were very happy except bride and groom... Jallal was bit happy that at least his parents wish was fulfilled if not his... (Jallal friends dancing and teasing Jallal...)

Marriage was completed with all the rituals done and Jallal and Jodha's parents happiness knew no bounds...But somewhere Jodha's parents were worried a bit as they knew she is very stubborn and this marriage was against her wish.

First night (in Jallal's room)

Jallal was sitting and checking some important file's when Jodha entered the room with a glass of milk in her hand and places it on the table make sound (tuck) Jallal saw her and say's sorry he didn't notice her coming has he was checking some important file

Jodha: (with anger) are you educated??

Jallal: (with little shock) what??

Jodha: (with same rude tone ask) are you.. educated??

Jallal: (with clam tone) why? Do you wanna check my graduation certificate? And why are you asking such a silly question don't you, I m the owner of Mughal empire (it includes industries, college...etc) and I guess you Know our industries come in top 5 industries...

Jodha: Ho well., you are such big business tycoon, and ... yap you look like most learned person but I wander how come you don't have the least knowledge that you have to ask the girl before marriage that is she interested or not for the marriage Mr. khan..

Jallal: (with little shocked) what?? (After analysing what she just said...) what hold on.. this marriage was against your wish and I thought my parents fixed this marriage with your wish and permission..So I didn't see your photo also and just accepted for this marriage for their wish..

Jodha: kya..? don't you have basic knowledge that marriage is your personal matter and at least you should try to know what girl wants and is she ready for marriage... but you agreed for marriage without even taking a look at photo just because your parents wanted ... that's ridiculous ..

Jallal: ok, I didn't had that basic knowledge ..at least you had right why didn't you made an effort of telling me that you not willing for the marriage..

Jodha: No one gave me that opportunity to speak and my parents didn't understand my love and due to their force I accepted for this marriage... but don't try to come close to me... I know Surya( Jodha's boyfriend) will come one day and take me with him... after knowing all this and if you try come close to or try to force on me...( Jalal interpreted in middle)

Jallal: stop, I know what you want to say... that if I force you... I will get your body and not your heart... don't worry I won't come near you... but what you want do next...

Jodha :( she felt little surprised and but in same angry look told)

I WANT DIVORCE

Jallal: (with little shock) what?? Come again..

Jodha: "I WANT DIVORCE"

Jallal: (calming himself down ) he just told "OK" I will give you want but not here ..Once we go back to Mumbai

Saying that he left room leaving Jodha alone in room... on the other side Jodha was watching him leaving the room and felt relieved and with little shock she started to analyse what he just told...he just said "OK, i will give you want you want"...really while she had thought he will shout at her creating a big scene all the way...but instead he just said OK..

Jallal left her and came down stair...When he saw his parents with some of their relatives and friends talking happily, he heard them talking that they are very happy... And his father saying that when all the rituals are done at right place and at the right time bride and groom will be happy throughout their life... Jalal remembers few months back when his parents tried to convince him for marriage

Jallal's flashback

Hamida( jallal's mom) : Son, at least his time you get married ... look at yourself how you was and what have you become... Just forget Rukaiya (Jallal's girl friend) and start your new life...

Jallal: mom please don't force me, love happens for one time in everyone's life .. and If we get the person we love we will be happy otherwise we should think that we are not lucky enough and keep quiet and moreover I don't want to give Rukaiya's place to anyone..

Hamida: why not? When the girl you loved , got married to other person and lively her life happily then why don't you have new life..

Jallal: (to Humayun) dad why don't you tell her

Humayun: Beta, your mom is right

Jallal: I don't have any pain dad, I daily meet 100's of people and making myself busy in work .., and i am forgetting all pain..

Hamida: that means you do have pain.. and only medicine for that., you should get married and start your new life.

Humayun: Hamida leave this topic...Don't force him...

Hamida: No, why should I leave, when we had agreed the girl he loved without questioning him.. just for his happiness... but he don't even care for us (with tears in her eye turning towards Jallal) do you know your dad heart attack twice he is suffers from chest pain every night thinking of you..

Jallal: (with shock and tears in his eye) mom what are you telling dad had heart attack and no one informed me..

Hamida: your dad didn't wanted to upset you..., leave however..When you don't care for us.. whatever happens to us... should also not bother you..( saying that his parents turned to leave)

Jallal: (with closing his eye ) stop, you want me to get married right , ok I am ready for marriage.. But promise me you both will never neglect your health and most importantly you will inform me every little thing's... I don't want any sort of negligence...

(Hamida and Humayun turn towards him and hugged him in happiness...)Thank you son...

Hamida: (wiping her tears)...I have selected a very beautiful girl for you.., (showing him Jodha's photo)

Jallal: It's ok, no matter whom it is, I will marry her and moreover you had accepted my love without any question and so I will also get married to any girl of your choice.. and I will have no complaints..

Hearing that Hamida hugged him with tears in her eye...

Chapter 2

Day 2 in Jallal house

All relatives and family friends are assembled in Jallal's house...all were busy talking with Jallal's parents...while Jallal is busy checking his mail... mean while Jallal father interprets him...

Humayun: Jallal beta , see here .. who have come to meet you

Jallal: yes dad, coming just a second...( looking at the other person who was standing with his dad...) Shaurya uncle ,aap praanam.. ,how are you

Shaurya Singh: I am good beta.. You tell me how are you my boy.. And where is my daughter-in-law.. i am dying to meet her..

Jallal: (with smile) she is room uncle getting ready..

Shaurya: accha... but why are you looking so serious (winking his eye)

Jallal: Nothing uncle... actually I am worried about mom and dad ... As I will be leaving to Mumbai by evening... no one will be here to take care of him..

Meanwhile in Jallal's room

Jodha's parents have come to meet her...

Jodha: you here..

Barmal: beta.. are you still angry on us?

Jodha: I just don't want to talk to you

Mainavathi: Your dad did all that for your well-being, no parents will think bad for their children... Why are you understanding that?

Jodha: you people have taken my love from me.. and your telling you did all this for my well being.. No you didn't do this for my good.. You have done all these for your welfare.. As Jallal is a business tycoon.. You people just wanted to improve your status... so you pushed your daughter to hell... I hate you.. And from now I am not your daughter Jodha Singh.. I am Jodha..Only Jodha now so please don't interfere in my personal matters..(Saying that she left the room closing the door on them..)

Mainavathi: (Lwith tears) How we will make her understand ...

Barmal: ( with sad face) Don't worry everything happens for good..

On other side Jallal was still talking to his dad and Shaurya Singh.. While he saw Jodha coming down the stairs and he calls her ...

Jallal: (smilingly) why are you so late, see all are waiting to see you..

Jodha: (turning towards Humayun) praanam papa and bend down to touch his feet..

Humayun: (loving caresses her head) jeethi raho beta... let all wish be full-filled.. (And showing Shaurya) beta.. Meet him he is my best friend.. Shaurya Singh..

Jodha: (smilingly) praanam uncle... and bend down to touch his feet...

Shaurya: praanam beta... (And turning towards Humayun.. ) yaar.. sometime I feel jealous looking at your luck... ( caressing Jodha's head) jeethi raho beta ..( turning towards Jallal) take care of her ..she is a princess..

Jallal: (just nodded his head saying) ok

Shaurya: arre kya huha Jallal beta.. Why are you looking so serious?

Jallal: uncle.. I have got married now, i should be serious na .. I have to handle so much work now ( turning towards Jodha and winkingly he added) otherwise wife will not allow to get inside the house..

Hearing that Shaurya, Humayun started to laugh... where Jodha was getting annoyed with his behaviour

Jodha: (to Jallal) I want to talk to you..(saying she left asking excuse from them..)

Jallal: (understood what she is up to... he turned towards Humayun).. dad, uncle excuse me, I will be back soon..

Humayun.. (just nodded his head saying ) ok

Shaurya: (winking his eye ) hurry up beta.. Otherwise wife become mad at you..

On terrace

Jodha waiting for Jallal to come..

Jallal: why you called me here all are downstairs come let's go their itself...

Jodha: Stop acting ok... why are you acting as if I like you..i don't like all these

Jallal: what? Are you a complaint box? Always having some or other problem... I was just acting their.. Even I don't have any interest to be with you..

Jodha: Then.. Why all these? Why don't you tell them directly...

Jallal: ok..let me ask you one thing?.. You have so much guts to ask for divorce on the first night of marriage.. then why didn't you run away with your boyfriend before the marriage ..

Jodha: I didn't have hope..that "if we run away my dad would have left us in peace..He would have hunted for us.. or even killed Surya( Jodha's boyfriend ).. All my bad fate..I had to get married to you.. because I wanted my love to be safe.. I didn't wanted to take any risk on his life..And this marriage is just a sort of freedom for me.. From my parents clutches..

Jallal: That's not my problem.. As you want to save your love.. I also want save ...people I love.. My parents will not be able to handle this.. if they get to know their ladli bahu have asked for the divorce in very first night..And so all these drama's ok... and it would be better for you if you act accordingly.. I can tolerate anything... but not with my parents happiness... their happiness and peace means a lot to me...

Saying that he turned to leave.. He walked few steps and stopped and turned towards her..

Jallal: you know one thing, I too had loved one girl more than my life.. Don't you worry I can understand you plight.., and hope you also will understand me..(saying that he left.. where Jodha was surprised by his calm behaviour..)

Evening Jodha and Jallal left for Mumbai...

In Mumbai( at khan mansion)

There was a grand welcome for newly wedded bride and groom ..., all Jallal staff and friends were assembled in khan mansion...

Jallal says thanks to all and moves inside the house..And will be surprised at the decoration and arrangements.. all his staff and friends wish's him and Jodha a very happy married life and leaves the place as it was already late night...

Chapter 3

After that Jallal says to Jodha that you can go rest as its late and the journey was tiring as well

Jodha: which is my room ... and I don't want to share your room

Jallal : (making his eye wider) I said you can go rest.. I didn't mention my room..And don't even think of that ..I don't share my room with unknowns.. You can go to guest room ..

Jodha: but .. Where's guest room

Jallal: (with frustration) on my head.. There are many servants in house... ask them they will guide..

Jallal calls one old man named Raghu..( who was with Jallal and taking care of him all the time...from last few years )

Jallal: ( to Raghu) chaha.. Show her the guest room..

Raghu: par beta .. kyu betiya tho.. (Jallal interpreted in middle)

Jallal : chaha .. I will tell you everything later.. phele aap isko( Showing Jodha) guest room dheka diye ... aur luggage bhi rakvadijiye..

Raghu: (nodding his head in confusion) says ok

Jallal: (to Jodha) now you can follow him..He will show you ..your room ok..(and turns to leave..)

Jodha: (with angry look) shouts ok... And leaves from their

While Jallal ...thinking what happened to her suddenly.. Why she is shouting??... This girl is really irritating..

In mid night

Jallal came out of his room as he was not getting sleep.. And all the attempts he made to sleep yielded no fruit.. And while coming downstairs he saw Jodha's room lights were on.. He was surprised... and then he thought to ask her if she was ok.. But Then he thought.. Leave why to ask that complaint box...she will start shouting again ... he went straight to study room.. and started checking his mail... but sudden he remembered her again... what if she really have some problem should I ask her... then again he thinks no.. What if she shouts at me again..But why the lights are on.. Did she forgot to off the lights or.. Is she not comfortable.. Uff.. Ok let me go and check once.. If she is ok.. She is my guest now and it's our culture to take care of guest... thinking that he walked towards her room

Jallal: (standing outside her room) should I go in or not...thinking he thought to knock the door.. If she is awake she will response..And knocks at the door (tuk tuk ) Jodha it's me Jallal are you awake..

Jodha: (with sad face L ) sitting on her bed holding pillow ( got surprised and angry at same time thinking.. what he is doing here? At this time.. ) what are you doing here??

Jallal: ( enters the room slowly)I just came to check whether you're comfortable or not...

Jodha: I am comfortable... (looking at clock)

Jallal: I wasn't getting sleep so I came outside my room... meanwhile I saw your room lights were on.. So I thought to ask you.. If you are ok..

Jodha : it's ok.. I don't have any problem..Thank you

Jallal: says ok.. And turns to leave and stops (when he heard her saying something)

Jodha: (with pout on her says) I am very hungry..

Jallal: (turns with surprise and smiles seeing her antics)

Jodha: (got annoyed seeing him smiling at her) why are you smiling... I am really hungry... I didn't have anything from morning

Jallal: hmm... why don't you go kitchen and eat something...

Jodha: L I don't know cooking...and I don't want to disturb Raghu chaha he might be sleeping now

Jallal: hmm.. Right.. (And thinking something)...ok will you eat Maggie

Jodha: (with surprise) yes... but..(Jallal interprets)

Jallal: come down I will prepare Maggie for you..

Jodha: huuu ... you know cooking...

Jallal: Nooo but I know to make Maggie.. Come

Saying that he leaves towards kitchen.. While Jodha follows him quitly..

In kitchen

Jallal preparing Maggie... while Jodha standing behind him and watching curiously.. There was complete silence... Jodha thinking he is not that bad as I had thought of him before marriage.. Look he is preparing Maggie for me... hmm good.. After few minutes

Jallal: here you go with your Maggie.. (He gives her the Maggie bowl and says) have it and go to sleep... good night...

Jodha: (with anxious tone) I fear being alone..

Jallal: ya ok... I will sit but finish soon..(And turns towards her and saw Jodha enjoying her Maggie without hearing him... Jallal just sat on the sofa and waited till she completes it...)

Jodha: (after finishing) wow, I feel better now

Jallal: happy

Jodha: (just nodded her head) yes

Jallal: go and sleep now..

Jodha: I... I don't know from where to go... I forgot my way... that's not my fault.. See your house so big... that's the problem..

Jallal: (with frustration look) follow me

Saying that he started towards her room and soon they reached her room

Jodha: good night

Next morning

Jodha still sleeping.. When she heard someone calling her..

Jodha: (came out of her bed and opens the door and saw Raghu chaha) arre chaha aap... what the matter? Why are you waking me up to early..

Raghu: Betaji.. Jallal sir is waiting for you down stairs... he wants see you..

Jodha: (in surprise) see mee.. But why

Raghu: I don't know that beta.. He is in study room please go their

Jodha : ok chaha I will go..

Saying that Jodha went to get ready... after one and half hour she came outside..And went straight to study room where Jallal was waiting for her

Jodha: Did you call me...

Jallal: (looking at her) yes I did call you.. Today my friends have arranged some party.. As they wanted to celebrate our wedding..

Jodha: (with wide eye) But...we are not husband and wife..

Jallal: I know that... But they don't know.. So be ready by 7pm ... I will come to pick you

Jodha: whatever... they don't know that's not my problem..and I won't come...

Jallal: ok... actually I forgot to say something.. I have taken appointment with lawyer tomorrow to file divorce.. I won't come there.. You can go alone

Jodha: (with angry) ok at what time..

Jallal: wow super fast.. I like it.. sharp 7pm be ready ..I will come to take you

Jodha: (gives him angry look and leaves)

Jallal: smiles at his victory and leaves for his work...

Jodha's room

Jodha: (talking to herself) what he thinks of himself.. Black mailing me aa.. but if refuse to go then he won't come to file divorce.. ok let it be.. I will go.. only for few days I have to tolerate him .. once I get divorce.. I will ask surya to take me from here.. But I don't know where he is?... how to find him?.. I don't know his new number also... while she was busy thinking.. she heard someone knocking at door..(Without looking she said) come in

Jallal: (saw her lost thinking and helpless look on her face.. he felt very bad for her.. but he himself is helpless he can't go to that party alone without her as the party was organised for both of them... and what he will tell his friends and staff...in low tone) Are you ready?

Jodha: (turned to him..with shock )you...why you came so early?

Jallal: (Wandering) early... It's already 7:30... I was waiting for you..From last 30 minutes.. When you didn't come.. I thought I will remind you once..

Jodha: ( with L face) I am ready..

Jallal: ok lets go then..(Saying he walked out, and Jodha followed him... soon they were in his car..And in 30 minutes they reached the place of party .. Jallal friends saw him coming with Jodha..They all came towards him.)

Abdul( Jallal best friend) : welcome Jallal and welcome babhi..

All joined Abdul saying welcome Mr. and Mrs.Jallal... (Jodha was getting annoyed as all were addressing her as Mrs. Jallal )

Jallal: (got inside the party hall with Jodha and thanked them...)

Abdul: (teasingly) so Mr. and Mrs.Jallal.. When are you planning to go for honey moon..(Jodha got irritated)

Jodha: call me Jodha...

Abdul: (to Jallal) hey you changed your name (winking at him)

Jallal: no no.. Jodha is her name..

Abdul: accha and started laughing ..( Jodha was really annoyed and she left from there..)

Abdul: yaar Jallal babhi is very strong..

Jallal: (with little shock) How you know?

Abdul: when babhi asked me to call her by name...but babhi is very beautiful... nice pair bro

Jallal: (smiling mysteriously) hmm thank you..

Abdul: (to all.. friends it's such a great day.. I think we should all dance with our partners and celebrate this eve... )

All: yes ...

Abdul: But first we want Jallal and babhi to dance ( to which Jallal and Jodha's eye widen in shock)

Jallal: (looking towards Jodha and knowing she was not liking that) no Abdul..I don't know dance...

All : ( started) please Mr. Jallal ... please.. Just two steps please please...

Finally Jallal and Jodha gave up and agreed to dance

Abdul: music please

Jallal and Jodha holds each other and started dancing according to music..

There was a big round of applause.. All were saying.. Superb pair ... made for each other...Jallal thanked all and left to khan mansion making excuse

Jallal and Jodha went straight to their rooms to rest as it was already.. And for Jallal it was too tiring day.. And He soon dripped into sleep.. While Jodha slept thinking how the events are taking place without her wish...

Next morning

At dining table (Jodha and Jallal sitting and having their breakfast with complete silence ... finally Jallal broke the silence)

Jallal: Today we have appointment with lawyer @11...be there on time (giving her the address of the lawyer office) I have some work I will complete that and reach the there on time...

Jodha: you could have called lawyer to mansion itself..

Jallal: lawyer also have some case today he have to attend court... he will be free after 11.. And tomorrow he will be leaving to US... And I want to complete this work as soon as possible.. So I told him we will reach his office..

(Jodha and lawyer waiting for Jallal mean while lawyer was studying some case file... And Jallal came at exact 11 .. )

Lawyer: Greeting him..how many days over( after marriage)

Jodha: one week

Lawyer: why are you applying for divorce?

Jodha and Jallal looking at each other

Jallal: we don't want to be together so..

Lawyer: but still I think you should give a try.. Because it's only a week after your marriage

Jallal: (making his voice louder) no... Mr.Lawyer.. we do want to get separated..(While Jodha also nods her head in yes)

Lawyer: ok sign here giving divorce application

Jodha: (soon after signing...) is it finished now...

Lawyer: no.. You have just given application form

Jallal: matlab

Lawyer: we have produce this to court.. Which I will do .. But we have some rules and regulation for this.. According to that.. Law says after the application is filed ...husband and wife will be given 6 month to change their mind .. So that they can continue their marriage...if they don't change their mind even after 6months then divorce will be given..

Jallal and Jodha (together) what 6 months?

Jallal: can't this be done little earlier

Lawyer: no I am sorry Mr. khan that's not possible..

(Lawyer making an excuse...left saying think over this once again..)

Jallal (to Jodha) : wow, you pretty smiling, keep smiling always.. ( saying that he leaves making an excuse )

Jodha: surya used to say that always... (Cutting her talk in middle) good night... and goes from their
