At the very outset, Im really sorry I couldnt update review of yest's episode...just got back from my trip late last night...and Im really sory I couldnt reply to many people's comments on the last 3 posts or so... the beach side cottage in the middle of nowhere, gave me a very hard time trying to access the internet :p

"Shagun apni harkaton se baaz nahin aayegi...PHIR shuru ho gayi" Raman's pacing the floor, angry and disturbed...I barely noticed his expression, to be honest, coz all I had eyes for, was his white shirt, clinging so casually on to his lean frame...He has not got rid of his beard EITHER...AND THAT, strangely...makes him look HOT
Rams into Ishita, who comes up from behind...She asks him what he's so irritated about.."Arrey yeh..SHAGUN ne dimaag kharab karke rakh diya hai" he replies
"Ladoge usse?"
"Nahin...Aarti karoonga main" he retorts...
"Woh yahi chahti hai ki hum jhagden..." Ishita explains to him, trying to calm him down...very composedly, all prim and proper..."Arrey tum jaanti nahin ho...BAHUT KHURAFAATI HAI WOH", Raman says..
"Uske khurafat ko kaatne ka YANTRA hai hamare paas?"
"Kisi taantrik ke paas jaake aayi ho?"
"Woh hamare relationship ko CHALLENGE kar rahi hai" "Yeh hamare relationship ka TEST hai Raman"...Im glad that from the week-long mistrust and bickering and hollering at his wife for his bratty son, they're atleast TALKING about waht a bitch Shagun is and what her limits are and WHAT she's trying to do..and HOW they can together fight it...Atleast, Raman is ACKNOWLEDGING the fact that Shagun is not all manipulation and plot-free...as she digs her feet deeper in Bhalla House... and ATLEAST, Ishita isnt all nice and sugary and kind to her arch rival...ATLEAST, SHE'S WORKING ON HER SENSES OVERTIME
Loved the ease with which Raman kept his arm over her shoulder..and how COMFORTABLE Ishita was with him too...IT's soo much more better to see them like THIS than all the tears and tantrums last week..
Appa is still fighting his financial crisis...He is in a hurry...doesnt even have time to have his regular morning coffee...and informs Amma he's leaving for the insurance office
"Main BUS se chala jaaunga yaar...WHY TO WASTE MONEY?" he argues, while hurriedly sipping his coffee...and countering Amma's well-meaning suggestion of taking a taxi to the office...Amma is perplexed at this agitated behaviour
Appa Meets Raman outside...and very deftly avoids Raman's invite for taking a ride to the office...
Ishita rushed outside to hand Raman his phone...NOW, THIS is what I TAKE AWAY from today's episode..coz the rest was just BLAH
"Aise BYE thodi bolte hain?" as she says 'Bye' hurriedly...turning on her heel
"Toh KAISE Bolte hain?"
"Jaise...BIWI apne husband ko bye bolti hai"
"Mujhe kya pata biwi apne husband ko kaise bye bolti hai? Maine to SHAADI PEHLI BAAR KI HAI" DT killed it with her COY, KNOWING, FLIRTATIOUS look while delivering this line
"Toh seekho...kuch naya seekho..'
"Kahan se seekhun...yahan toh koi examples bhi nahin hai" Ishita replies, while surveying the road outside..
"Tum toh dimaag wali ho...doctor ho...seekho"
"Seekh toh lungi..magar yahan PUBLIC mein?" By now, Ishita is full RED in her cheeks, blushing profusely...not believing her hottie husband was asking her for something so intimate...
Anyway, Ishita finally settled for the two-finger kiss on her hubby's cheek...rather than going full blown on his dimpled cheeks, pecking them right till she could feel his skin, and he-her lips...Kya yaar! I was desperately waiting for THE moment...Ishita ITNA sharmayegi, toh inki suhaag-raat mein toh PAANCH saal lag jayenge
The guy at the bank is suggesting Appa to borrow the money from Raman Bhalla, who also used to stay in the same housing society as Appa (the one that got burned down by the fires)...Appa refuses and says he cannot take money from his son-in-law...The guy tells him the loan amount is too much to be sanctioned..Appa leaves...and the very next minute the guy calls Raman, telling him that Appa refused his suggestion of borrowing the money from him...Raman is in a fix now...
FLASHBACK- He recollects how Appa had hid his face the minute he saw Raman's car pass by the bus stop he was waiting at...how Raman had caught his attention to a stain on his shirt during the Parikrama episode...how he had avoided the ride to the office...he realized APPA really, was short of money...
"Mujhe aisa kuch karna hoga, jisse APPA KI self-respect bhi reh jaye..aur unki help bhi jo jaye"
He comes back home and starts cribbing about some Subramaniam about to retire and leaving the company in a few days' time...He's mock-irritated about not finding anyone suitable with as flourishing a work ex as Subramaniam: 20 Years...Ishita reminds me of a time when HE had suggested that Appa help him out in his office...Of course, Raman was looking for the opportunity...he jumped on to this suggestion and even stated that Appa would be paid a regular salary for his services...
Im very, very impressed with HOW much Raman does for Ishita's family members...he thinks of the Iyers AS HIS OWN PARENTS...and that's something every man should learn..soo touching...though Appa's financial crisis was sketched in a boring way, Im happy a NEW angle has been added...with Appa going to office and possibly...lots more drama added...we might just see how MUCH connected Raman becomes to Ishita...via this new change in Appa's life..
Ishita goes to Appa and tells him about RAMAN'S suggestion...Appa isnt very convinced...thinks he might not be up to the standards the company's looking out for..
"Daily office jayega...toh HEALTH bhi accha rahega" Amma assures him...
Appa is worried he might fail on the technology aspect, and the new advanced ways of working in the Accounting dept. "No Appa..You're the BEST" Ishita concludes, and leaves Iyer house, without allowing him a word to say...
Amma-Appa talk..."Computer ke course bhi hai, woh kar lo..." Amma says, when he cites he's kinda technologically backward "Raman hamara beta hai...Hum uski help nahin karenge, toh KAUN karega?" Amma says...
The minute Amma leaves, he calls that particular Mr. Dheeraj..and informs him of a new job he's got..and how there would be no more prob in sanctioning his loan...Im sured the word will fly down to Raman..
Ishita is getting RUHI dressed..Ishita looked like a GODDESS, with that peach-cream saree and the pink choli- blouse with the lovely metallic jhumkas bobbing up and down, as she confessed to Ruhi how she wasnt much spunk on athletics...Ruhi assured her its going to be fine, and that they're going to have lots of fun...Found it soo nostalgic...the way Ishita braided and tied her ponies and Ruhi stood in front of the mirror, like an accha baccha...Sooo reminded me of MY school days...used to get dressed the same way BUT...with some spanking too for being late always😃
Amma Appa subtle romance on the morning of Appa's second innings...He's worn his regular check shirt and asking Amma how it looks on him..."Ekdum Rajni sir" Amma gushes... I love senior citizens in the mad throes of love..it ALWAYS makes me teary-eyed, coz I feel its such an achievement to be SO much in love, even after 40 yrs!
Amma has even got out an old book of his, 'Basic Accounting' to help Appa overcome his doubts.. ..."Raman ne UNKNOWINGLY meri kitni help ki hai..HE'S SUCH A NICE PERSON"Appa's thinking to himself...I HAVE to admit...Raman is a man WORTH KILLING FOR, when he's not completely losing it over ADI...
Ishita again rushed outside to give him Raman's phone..."Aajkal bahut kuch bhoolne lage ho tum?" she teases Raman...and as they stand outside the door flirting some more with each other...they see Amma feeding him a spoon of curd, as a sign of good luck...
"Raman...MAIN TUMHEN OFFICE MEIN SIR BOLUN, YA MR. RAMAN?" Appa asks Raman...Ayyo...Appa...such an uncomfortable qs...
"Appa...yeh military camp nahin hai...office hai...Aap mujhe Raman bula sakte hain" Raman assures him, with a smile...
Raman introduces Appa to his colleagues.."Aaj se yeh iss company ke Chief Accountant hain...saare accounts Subramaniam ki jagah yeh dekhenge...and before I forget, he's also my Father-in-law...isse pehle yeh Ministry mein kaam karte the...aur inhe TEEN BAAR accounts practice ka award bhi mil chuka hai", he PROUDLY gives the info on Appa...
Raman in his office, starts getting all senti over Amma-Appa love story running strong even after 35-40 yrs! About how well they've brought up thE Iyer sisters...about what an accomplishment it would be if he and Ishita are even half as happy at THEIR age...about how "love" is what makes people happy...Somehow..THAT BIT wasnt delivered properly by KP..he seemed a bit off...like, it sounded manufactured...Mihir also didnt manage to look screwed up or HURT enuff..I suggest...JUST LET RINKI TOO JOIN THE OFFICE ON SOME PRETEXT AND WHIP UP SOME MI-RI ROMANCE...OFFICE ROMANCE, TO BE PRECISE...Im TIRED of Mihir pining for he nutcase spreading weird rumours about being preggy with HIS child...
I have NO IDEA what Romi has gone to the doctor for...but he's essentially poring over some test results and is expecting them to turn out all fine so that he can leave for Dubai..as he's congratulating himself for some unnamed feat, in minutes, Sarika steps in with some file in her hand..SHOCK registers on ROMI'S face..like no other...guess we have some MORE DRAMA lined up for the Bhallas...Perfect...IshRa chain se kabhi reh hi nahin payenge.
PRECAP - Raman is STILL blaming himself over how HE was the one coz of whom ADI did not get a "good Parvarish"...how becoz he could not stop Shagun leaving him...how he couldnt prevent Ashok from entering ADI's life...blah blah blah...Ishita's trying to console him, saying it isnt his fault...
P.S. Ishita Raman Bhalla looked EXTREMELY droolworthy today...VERY VERY PRETTY...Like Goddess Saraswati, in her GLORY ...so calm, composed, beautiful and IN CONTROL..as much as she was IN LOVE
