You're right; I do adore the pair of Milind-Prachi. However, I too agree with you on one point completely. If the rape occurs, I will not be able to sustain my fascination with the couple. In that scenario, I would not be able to bear the idea of Prachi developing feelings for Milind 🤢 since his villainous act, in my estimation, would be iiredeemable. In that scenario only will I support Neev and Prachi rediscovering their love for one another; however, I would hope that the creatives in that scenario afford them of a new start in their relationship (after divorces from their respective spouses), a fresh beginning of their love that witnesses development of maturity between the couple as well as essential elements of trust, understanding, compassion, and everlasting friendship. Of course, I might not then stick around then because I would be strongly compelled to stop watching the show should the rape occur, especially if they have a love story track between the Milind-Prachi pair in the pipeline despite the occurence of the marital rape.

But I am hoping against hope that Milind does not rape Prachi; and I am starting to believe that he will not. I hope I am right. Even though I do not condone near-rape scenarios, at least, I could stomach that better than a rape scenario. In a near-rape scenario, I would still lose respect for Milind's character, but at least, I will not loathe him as I am wont to do in the latter case. And I could then let Prachi decide if she wants to forgive his near-beastly act or not if Milind stops in the nick of time; that much leeway, I think I can give the pair of Milind-Prachi. But I think, if this circumstance were ever true of anyone's life (i.e. a near-marital-rape), I would advise the woman in question to file for divorce papers. Trying to rape your wife is not in any way acceptable especially because a husband is sworn to protect and uphold the honor of his spouse. That kind of betrayal of trust should never be forgiven in my opinion, no matter how sorry the man later is. "Too little, too late" comes to mind. But that does not mean that I can in any way judge what a woman should do in the near-rape cicrcumstance because, ultimately, the choice rests with the near-victim.

P.S. Mages, I would take any of your two scenarios over a rape. But I hope that Milind-Prachi consummate their marriage not in the heat of the moment but when they are convinced of their commitment to one another.
