8 Tamil Releases on Jan 30!
It looks like 2015 will break Tamil cinemas 2014 record number of releases! On January 30 a record 8 films are releasing. It means 17 releases in January, almost a release every alternate day.
The 8 films which have announced a release this weekend are - Dharani, Isai, Killadi, Manitha Kathal Alla, Mandodhari, Pongi Ezhu Manohara, Pulan Visaranai 2 and Touring Talkies.
All these films will find it difficult to get screens, at a time when Shankar's Vikram starrer I is rocking the box-office. The main screens may give one or two shows to SJ Surya's Isai, depending on the distributor's clout. The others may have limited below 30 single screen releases.
