Let every teacher teach the student how to love this nation, let every parent instill in his or her sons and daughters the beauty of our nation. Happy Republic Day!

Today, let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of India.

India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legends, and the great grandmother of traditions. Our most valuable and most artistic materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only...!!!.

Saluting India...!!!!! Where each bud blooms in its true colors, where each day is celebration of unity, harmony and synthesis.

Happy Republic Day.

Friends...

when Republic Day or Independence day comes...automatically my minds goes to my school days..😊, when we use to get up early, neatly dressed, putting up a Indian flag on top of front pocket of shirt..😆...go to school for flag hoisting and then cultural activities...sweets, its use to be fun..😊

a day before we use to decorate our classroom, dance practice for next day, use to be lot of fun...do share your school days memories..would love to hear from all..😊.

also after coming home...discussing the Republic day parade with family members, aahhh those were really sweet days...

sometimes i feel people were far happy in those days without these mobile apps, 100's of tv channel, and social networking, life use to be so simple and lot of fun..😊, i know u all must be thinking what i am talking about bhide ke zamane ke baatein, but believe me life has become more complicated than easier these days...😊

Happy Republic Day to everyone!
Independence Day and Republic Day-these are the only 2 days in a year where we hear all old as well as new patriotic songs.
Sadly, people remember the country, it's freedom fighters and great leaders only during these 2 days. For some people these 2 days are nothing but public holidays.
I too remember my school days where we used to go to school, take part in the republic day programs and come back home with sweets.I remember this day for another special reason -I would always become Bharat Mata from 5th till 10th grade. It would be really tough for me to go to school in saree.

Its hardly been a year since I left school..But like you said, I also miss everything from waking up in the morning to getting dressed up,the parade that we had, and our small republic day function in school..On republic day, first we used to gather in our school ground where the teachers used to distribute us the flags.. Then the flag hoisting ceremony..Our principal used to hoist the flag..And then we all used to sing Jana gana mana as loud as we could 😆...Ahh I miss that so much 😭
After that we had Patriotic Singing competition in which children from nursery to class 10 used to take part ..we used to have auditions for that competition and only few students used to get selected..Main kabhi hoti thi aur kabhi kabhi nahi hoti thi 😆 We had three prizes (one for pre-primary, one for primary and one for secondary) And used to get soo excited to know who the winner was 😆
After that we had the Parade 😊
When the function used to end, each student used to get a small packet of Glucose biscuit,Frooti and some sweet..😆 I will never forget all these memories 😔

Happy Republic Day Everyone.

In school days. I used to get up early and getting ready to go school. Then teachers used to distribute flags, principal Ma'am used to hoist Flag. We used to sing patriotic songs. Preparations for singing began 10 days before.

Its been 5 years I left school but still remember those moments.
