It needs a big heart to do those things

I'm making this post in response to a post in the JR renaming contest thread, which sort of was degrading Sid's character I didn't reply it there b'coz I don't want to divert the purpose of that thread. This is not to create an argument but just stating my POV, b'coz that post made me think a lot about the character SID

So, the post says Sid is a ghulam jamai who can do anything and is so durable as how much ever u degrade him he won't respond. And it says and I quote

"in love people can go to some extent. not like him."

This is a sentence which really caught my attention. In love will people do things like what Sid is doing. Sometimes even I feel to what extend Sid is going in his love for Roshni. Yesterday, even I felt bad when Sid fell on Roshni's feet and asked her forgiveness😭 Niether in real life nor in a show, would a male character go to such an extent. In conventional thinking, even touching a wife's feet by husband is considered unacceptable where Sid had kissed Roshni's feet (during honeymoon track). He doesn't find it offensive to take out the chappals of his mother in law b'coz he considers her as his mother

Does it make Sid's character look weak??? I would say absolutely NO. It requires immense courage and a very big heart to do the things SID is doing😊 I know the male ego is so big that it is very difficult for them to apologize even when they are wrong. But Sid has shown the courage to own his mistake and apologize to the greatest extent possible. It is b'coz his love for Roshni is greater than his Ego. Even when he is so rich, whatever he has done in Patel house, he did it with full dedication and without taking any offence even when people are badmouthing. It takes a hell lot of self control to keep ur mouth shut when people are badmouthing you, which a weak personality would never have.😊

We have heard of people giving their life in love, but living a life to ensure that your lover gets all happiness that she/ he desires w/o thinking about oneself is more difficult. And Sid proves it day by day, that In love people can go to any extent , that is his unconditional love for Roshni. If u can do only some things in love, it is your limited love. But Sid's love is unlimited and unconditional.❤️ May be it won't happen in real life, but it is an ideal situation which we always can dream of.

If someone can do atleast 50% of what Sid do, the relations would turn really strong.
A ghulam can never do the things Sid is doing, b'coz whatever Sid do is not b'coz of compulsion but b'coz of love.Love conquers all odds. Sid's love have conquered and will conquer all hatred. 😊🤗

And I am pity that he/she can't understand Sid's immense gentleness properly. In this society, who will leave his male ego and would do anything for his love?? who'ld try to go for any extent for his wife's happiness... Sid is really crazy in his love for Roshni and he don't mind doing anything like this and what matters for him is his love and nothing else😊

In the same epi of removing DD's cheppal, Sid gave Roshni a fabulous answer. He was asking her, "u don't do this when my mom asked u to do?" and Roshni answered, "Ofcourse, she is my mom". Then Sid replied, "then DD is my mom too. Jaise meri mom thumhari mom hai, waise thumhari mom meri mom hai". And I am highly impressed with this thinking of Sid. Even Roshni fell for his answer at the moment and her whole hyper was calmed down with this. This is not a weakness, this is the way of respecting relationships. Also Sid said to DD, that she has not yet given her aashirvad frm wedding times and he 'ld think it now as her blessings😊

Also she said abt his cooking... In these modern era, men cooking is not so strange. Everywhere we can see men cooking for his wife/family in their home and no wonder in that. It's just a token of love.

yes... Ghulam can't do whatever Sid does. Sid did almost everything just selflessly and did all for the family's welfare. The only mistake he did is his lie and hiding his identity to his wife this long period and that's y he's apologizing to everyone whole-heartely accepting his mistakes😊

I don't know what the discussion is because I haven't come across the post but I'll just like to state, that I'll take a man like Sid any day of the week over an egotistic, full of himself, hard like stone man. I like Sid's character because he doesn't see certain things as beneath him to do or as beneath his dignity.
