Part 2

After hanging up the phone Sanam immediately texted her Mom about the interview. After a few minutes her mom replied.

Now time to check my resume thought Sanam.

Sanam opened her laptop and started going over her resume, making changes wherever it was necessary to do so

After a little while Sanam's sister Seher came home .

"Seher, I have a job interview tomorrow morning"

"Awesome Sanam, Did you tell Ammi"

"Of course I did, she is the first one I told"

"Good"

After a little while Sanam and Seher went to the kitchen and started preparing dinner

Soon their parents were home. During dinner Sanam told her Dad about her interview

"Abbu, I have a job interview tomorrow" Sanam told her Dad excitedly

"Very good beta, Zoya ne bataya mujhe" said Asad

"Haan, agar interview acha jayega toh job pakki" said Sanam

"Zaroor acha jayega, wear something nice not something random" said Zoya

"Of course Ammi" said Sanam.

After dinner Sanam went to her room and started looking through her closet for an interview outfit.

After some time she decided to wear a nice pair of dress pants and a blue blouse with a blazer.

"Chalo yeh hogaya, now let me get together my things for tomorrow

Soon Sanam went to sleep, she tossed and turned all night because she was nervous and excited for her interview.

Part 3

The next morning Sanam woke up early and got ready. She ate breakfast, got ready and took the blessings of her parents

"Hamesha khush raho beta"

She got into her Volkswagon bug and turned her GPS on to enter the address

Within a half hour she had reached the building where the office was

She went into the lobby of the building and walked towards the elevator

She went inside and started talking to herself

"Allah Miya, be with me, mujhe ye job chahiye, hopefully boss grumpy nahin hai, Omg Ammi ko text karna bhool gayi, main bhi na pagal hoon"

Unknown to her someone was in the elevator staring at her and listening to her talk to herself

He shook his head, Wow, what a girl. She talks so much. Best of luck to whoever her boss is.

The man got off at his floor

Sanam was so busy talking to herself that she missed her floor that the office was on

After going all the way down and then directing the elevator up again she finally got off on the right floor

"Seriously yaar, main bhi na"

Sanam started looking for the office number and she finally found it

She went in and looked around shocked at how nice the office was. She walked to the reception desk.

"Hi, I am Sanam Ahmed Khan and I am here for an interview"

"Hi Sanam, I'm Nida. Take a seat and someone will come and meet you"

"Okay, Thanks"

Sanam was sitting for about ten minutes when she saw a man coming towards her

"Sanam Ahmed Khan"

"Yes"

"Rehaan Qureshi, Please follow me"

Sanam gathered her things and followed the Rehaan to his office.

After Rehaan and Sanam had both sat down the interview began.

"So Sanam , tell me about yourself"

"I just recently graduated from New York University and received a B.A. in Politics.

"That's good"

" I love reading and writing and of course listening to music"

"I see that you have no prior work experience, why should our firm hire you?"

" I feel like I would be a good addition to this firm. I am a fast learner and I will work very hard. I know I don't have experience but if I don't get a job where will I get experience from. I am hearing that a lot"

Rehaan nodded hearing that.

"Okay, When can you start?"

Sanam was shocked, "I got the job?"

Rehaan smiled, "Yes you did"

"Thank you, I can start tomorrow"

"Sounds good, Let me take you around the office and introduce you to everyone"

"Okay Sir"

"Please don't call me Sir, Call me Rehaan"

"Okay"

Rehaan and Sanam walked over to the big office that was next to his. Rehaan knocked on the door .

"Come in" said a voice from inside.

Sanam and Rehaan went in.

"Aahil, this is Sanam. Our new legal assistant"

Aahil looked up and nearly fell off his chair.

"Oh no, not her" he thought to himself
