Trisha, Kabir & everyone at the party is shocked to see Amrita dead. The murderer tries to escape but a waiter stops him/her from leaving, saying that police has sealed the building & no one is allowed to go out. He gets stabbed with a knife & dies.
Vivaan is walking in the middle of the road in an inebriated state when his friend, Armaan, calls him for help. Armaan explains that some lady at the supermarket handed him a baby & ran. She was being chased by some goons. The lady then got kidnapped & when Armaan chased them, he reached an abandoned place where the goons were trying to find out from her where she's hidden the baby. Armaan then called Vivaan for help as the goons want to kill the baby. Vivaan agrees to help him & reaches the address. Armaan had told him he's hiding the baby in a dumpster. Vivaan only finds the baby there as Armaan has been chased off by the goons. Vivaan calls the police for help & sends them his location. But before the police arrives, the goons find him & take him & the baby away.
At the Swaika house, Kabir orders Kadam to find out why Lavanya & Kushan didn't attend the party. Meghan grows tense. Sonali panics too & calls Lavanya to tell her what has happened.
Kadam finds the waiter's dead body in the lawn & tells Kabir about it.
The investigative team arrives to collect the evidence.
Lavanya & Kushan arrive as well. Kushan appears more shocked but Lavanya asks him to control his emotions as the cops are there. Kushan starts pretending to be insane again & says that Amrita is sleeping on the floor. Kabir enquires why they were missing from the party. Lavanya tells him to stop asking those questions as she's just lost her sister in law. Amrita's body is taken away for postmortem.
Everyone's finger prints are taken. Sonali shows some reluctance but agrees to it later. Kadam reports that Amrita was poisoned. Also, they found 2 sets of fingerprints on the glass she was drinking from.
Before the party, Sonali had schemed to mix Vivaan's drugs in Amrita's drink so that she creates a scene at the party & loses her reputation & also her CEO position. So now Sonali is scared that she'll be caught. She thinks drug overdose has killed Amrita. She speaks to Lavanya about it. Lavanya chides her for coming up with such a stupid plan. Sonali begs for her help but Lavanya walks away saying she's dug her own grave & she can't help her to get out of this.
Kabir arrives at Varsha's house. He's shattered after Amrita's death. He weeps & tells Varsha about it.
Back at the Swaika house, Trisha cries while missing both her parents.
The next morning, Kabir visits Trisha & tries to calm her down as she weeps uncontrollably. She asks him who killed her parents. Kabir is left speechless. Sonali watches them together & grows tense. Gaurav asks her why Vivaan hasn't come home since last night. A police officer calls Gaurav to inform him about Vivaan's last call to the police. The officer says that when he reached the spot, Vivaan wasn't there but they only found his phone. Gaurav & Sonali realize Vivaan has gone missing.
The goons have kidnapped Vivaan. They torture & beat him up & make his MMS which they are planning to send to his parents.
Armaan tells Gaurav & Sonali about what happened the previous night.
Meanwhile, at the Grewal house, Lavanya is using the washbasin when it starts spurting blood. She screams & calls Kushan. Kushan is busy watching the news. Lavanya runs to him & shows him blood on her hands. Kushan is shocked. The news reporter says that it's being suspected that Swaikas have fallen victim to a serial killer & with time, more family members may be targeted. Kushan & Lavanya are scared to hear this.
At the police station, the commissioner tells Kabir that the 2 sets of fingerprints belong to Amrita & Trisha. Kabir is shocked & refuses to believe the report. The commissioner tells him that he's hardworking but this case has weakened him as he's gotten personally involved with the Swaika family. The commissioner tells Kabir that Trisha has to be arrested since she fought with Amrita & then killed her. Kabir says that Trisha is being framed. The commissioner hands him an arrest warrant & strictly tells him to do his duty & arrest her.
Precap: Sonali & Gaurav reach with ransom amount to the place where Vivaan is being held hostage. The goons try to kill them as well but Kabir & Kadam arrive there.
