The director along with the lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput launched the trailer of the movie today. The director expressed his views on the kind of films being made in Bollywood and asked that if every film will have a 45-year-old man playing a 22-year-old man and romancing a 23-year-old woman, then where will other interesting stories go? At the event he was asked if he was confident about his detective film as the genre that has not really worked in Bollywood in the past, he said, "I have never been confident in what I do. I just know that I was dying to make it since after Khosla Ka Ghosla'. And slowly I gathered the power, the knowledge and the resources to make it. We have done our best and then gone five steps ahead. My dream was to see Byomkesh Bakshy on screen, because he is an immortal Indian character." "We have everything in Indian literature that can be out own icons. Also if every film will have a 45-year-old man playing a 22-year-old man and romancing a 23-year-old woman, then where will other interesting stories go?" he added. What are your thoughts on this?
