dhol bajne laga

ok based on the theme, dhol bajne laga is not a patriotic song, i cannot believe javed saab and anu malik let it slide. i came to the conclusion that its the celebration of a guy coming back to his hometown and it also has a smack of romance in it.

Raunak, agreed with you. Deepali has the talent to do much better in an episode as special as this one! Also, as if it wasnt bad enough that she sang DHOL BAJNE LAGA in the independence day episode mini asked her why she chose this song ... in my opinion, this has nothing to do with india's independence 😡

Madhy, yaar don't show the winking emoticon😊. We discussed this topic at least in 3 different threads and one is https://india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=694866 started by Sonya where one of the biggest Deepali fan and that is moi raised the same question.

so Deepali or no Deepali truth remains truth. No bias. It was not a patriotic song even if they tried to justify it.

exactly madhy...if ankita sings "UP Bihar " ppl make such a huge issue outta it saying its not a folk song n make never ending topics outta it but no when its deepali who does the same...plz blame sony...coz they offer songs to the contestants....but when it comes to ankita its not sony who offers teh songs to them......its her own choice na......she likes to pick up songs which r nowhere even close to the theme 😊

so true maya, actually i didnt find this thread before but i was thinking about it and later i realized that this not a patriotic song at all and javed saab and anu malik had ignored this issue😕

seems lyk Deepali sang that song to welcome Anil Kapoor..coz if I am not wrong, the song is picturised on Anil..
