Ilayaraja...Surely a composer beyond camparison... his background scores are awesome and a lot of his songs are so haunting and fresh. They catch your attention the very first time u hear it. I am from the IR era and grew up hearing his songs... truly mind-blowing. ARR's music is good too but not as consistent and versatile...
