Since the show started DD was shown to be a cold hearted woman ,but as the show progressed we had come to understand the reason for why she is so mean...She just wanted to provide her family with everything that she did not have... when Sid married Roshni DD was against the marriage because she thought Sid was poor and she wanted her daughter too live in comfort and not filth but as Sid worked and worked to prove he was a good person at heart DD grew to appreciate him, she began to realize that Sid was a good person at heart and she accepted him...
Now she wanted her daughter to get what she had never given them, her blessings and when that time did come all the dreams came crashing down because of a book of lies and one woman...
I understand Simran was in pain but what she did was not right,she destroyed DD by taking everything that DD holds dear to her...But what Simran failed to realize is that Roshni is her mother's pride she may take DD money and property but so long DD has Roshni in her corner she is good too go...Simran also failed to realize that she lost her son today because of what she has done Sid should not forgive his mom...she ruined his happiness for some joker who he warned her against...Cannot wait for the day Simran is left all alone in a corner because of her stupidity no one will stand by her side
