Her mother does, yes. So in a way she does belong to an illustrious family. Though not every royal family is very wealthy as everyone seems to believe, lol.

Kiran's cousins with Aditi Rao Hydari who DOES belong to an extremely illustrious & wealthy family, her mother, apart from being a highly respected academician, also owns Orient Longman publishing house. So they're definitely very wealthy!

No, if anything, Aamir married her because she suits his intellectual image, it gave him an ego boost that a woman considered very intelligent & indie wanted to be with him. She, because he is AAMIR KHAN & she could have a path into the industry, something which she would've found immensely daunting otherwise. Mixed in with this, must be the fact that they love each other.

But it's a rare person here who marries ONLY for Love. 😆

As for Aamir's philandering ways, there has never been anything concrete or proven. No "news" even lasted more than the duration of a movie production which makes it hard to tell if it was a promotional tactic or a fling. Regardless, kudos to Reena for not putting up with it if true. And kudos to both of them for making sure their business stayed their business.

More than maturity, I would say it's a sign of responsible parenting. It's a given they would have to interact seeing how they've children. Best to be cordial la di da than the opposite seeing how that would damage the childrens relationship but then , seeing how a lot of people tend to do just that, I can see what you mean. Reena is really close to the family as anyone who observes, can see. Imran has been quoted saying how close he is to her & his Mum is.

Oh Aamir is a huge philanderer, esp the time he was young & married to Reena. 😆😆

Juhi Chawla, Pooja Bhatt, Mamta Kulkarni, Barkha Dutt, the English actress on Lagaan where he first met Kiran, of course everyone knows about Jessica Hines & their son Jaan who Aamir has repeatedly failed to acknowledge & doesn't do so privately either.

He's calmed down now I hear. Now it's all about stroking his ego. Oh & he's hell-furious about the Sallu-SRK patchup because SRK & he genuinely do hate each other.

Yea, Aamir-Kiran do seem happier than most. Reena seems like a very nice lady too.

Amir and Kiran seem very similiar to me. They both are soft spoken and quite, but still have opinions and voice them when the time is right. They tend to live simple, down to earth lives. Don't really care such about the glitz and glamour or public attention. And they both love documentaries and more of the "intellectual" stuff like books, chess, etc. etc. The latter statement is greatly stereotypical. 😆

But they seem compatible. And Aamir likes her quirkiness and intelligence. I think he's just drawn to someone that can teach him about something more and isn't so superficial. B/c he's surrounded by people like that all day long so it'd be a nice esacape to go home to a woman that's well-informed and likes politics, world news, etc.
