Obviously I felt really sorry for Neelima (the way her eyes welled up) and Priyanka was in the wrong. But she has her reason. That is what I love about her, she is different from the rest. Being rude is like her protective shield. She has so much love in her heart but she's scared to show it? She doesn't want to be hurt again. Like Arpimugfan said she's insecure of her place, it's the only thing she has and she doesn't want to lose it.
The thing is, all of the mothers have had a tough life hence why they are living together. We know that Narmada's husband left her on Neelima's birthday, shattering their lives in the process. But the other mothers are not holding on to their past grief and taking it out on each other.
That is the problem that I have with Priyanka. As Narmada told her, the only reason why everyone tolerates her taunts is because they all love her. But she is the only one not trying to make an adjustment to her attitude. And that is not fair to the other mothers.
If Priyanka is not to going to ship out, then she needs to shape up because I am certain a day will come in which all of the other mothers will band together and say "Enough." And Priyanka will not be able to hide behind the "You are all trying to gang up on me" shield because they will all let loose.
