Nice question.
If I were Ishita, I would fight for my rights. Patience and mahaanta se kuch nahi hoga. I mean why should she leave her house. Its her house, her husband, her daughter. She should make it clear that
Adi and Shagun can leave if they have a problem with her.

Secondly, I wont tolerate this anger, indifference and scolding from anyone including my husband.
I will draw a well defined line to what is tolerable and what is not.

Kadwa sacch or whatever the matter even if it gives pain to all, I wont hide anything from the family or atleast my husband. They have to know and I will make them know it. I mean why should I alone suffer the damage and ruins of something which belongs to the entire family!
I know I sound selfish but thats how real life and people are.

Last but not the least, I will have my husband on my side. or perhaps on the side where the right is. Adi and Shagun arent right and I wont let my husband support them. For that to happen, Ishita has to work on improving her relationship with her husband rather than trying to work on her relationship with Adi.
She has to understand that Adi doesnt need her or rather he hates her. So its good that she just stays far away from him. I wont become mahaan and cook his favorites when all that the boy does is make plans against her.
She has to clearly state to family and Raman that she is not interested in becoming Adi's Ishima. She is just happy being Ruhi's Ishima!

Please at least read what the poll is about before going to contradict it! It says IF YOU WERE ISHITA WHAT WOULD YOU DO? It doesn't say what Ishita should do or what people thought Ishita should do. It simply asks if anyone were at her place, what would they do NOT Ishita and certainly NOT Ruhi .

I'd really appreciate if you didn't continue this further.

i said in very first reply what she should do.
I answered as only Ishita. if ruhi is ready to be without her father and family I would defo leave circus house 😳 because I had married only for ruhi and ruhi is only my first priority, answers to my all prayers, I had decided to give her healthy atmosphere

PS: it s india forums , freedom of speech and i can continue for ever 😛

i can see some posts are also not related to this topic but i don;t see objection on those post 😛

Again this poll in NOT about what Ishita should do! The heading states clearly that it's about what normal people would do if they were in her place! Please don't make it a battle field. And what you called a slight adjustment- well I don't see it that way. And the thing about Raman respecting her sometimes- like I said, it's not optional for ME. I can go on justifying my opinion but I don't think it's necessary.

Thanks for your opinion anyway.

If u r talking abt normal person then..
U should not ask normal person opinion for ishita!

Ishita is a character to which a normal person can't relate with

Will u marry someone just for a girl ruhi??! That too wen u think that person with whom u r marrying is not so good person?! No na!

Then wen ishita married for ruhi she should stay for ruhi! Imo.. She should take a stand for herself or should take care of only ruhi n should not bother abt others!

If she leaves she should not take ruhi as ruhi grand parents love ruhi!
she should nor separate ruhi from her grandparents chachu bua n all!

They loved her for past six yrs .Then hw can ishita take ruhi from them?!!

Well, then thanks for your opinion. But since I didn't ask what Ruhi'd do in the poll, I have no answer for that. That's why I replied to you that the question was in wrong post.

@ Bold Firstly, I'd appreciate if you not tell me what to do.
Apparently 140 people have already answered what they'd do if they were Ishita, thank you. This poll is about the current situation. We're not playing 'Who did what in the past' So if you want to participate, please remain on topic.

@ Blue Thanks for the opinion, that was the only part with the answer to the poll and my question actually.

just thinking ishita raman as normal couple.

Then if im at ishita place then I wont leave my house..that too wen I know my husband loves me
heated arguments keep happening in between couples that doesn't mean one should leave house!

@Red I don't suppose you know the law that well. There are many cases around the world where step parents won custody of child after divorce, so Ishita's chances of winning Ruhi is still better than Raman.

@Blue: If your point was to show Raman as a "not so great father" at the expense of the court and the Judge, then you are bang on. Anyways, since the premise is based on hypothetical assumption of "if Ishita walks out from Raman", then It's very plausible to assume that the same Adi testifying his "not so great dad" as the best dad in the world in front of the judge this time.

@Red: Well, the unnecessary poking was uncalled for. But unfortunately, I do know about the law well. And, it's pretty evident from your statement that you possess ZERO knowledge about the Indian law and are limited to reading headlines of media hyped high profile news all over the world. If you would have delved into further reading barring the sensational part that media hyped, there are lots of criteria need to be fulfilled first. In most (you can say almost all cases) cases, the biological parents were abusive and there was hardly any close next of kins; two most disadvantageous components of western life. More importantly, in all cases, either one of the biological parents were not interested for the child's custody that paved the way for the divorced step-parent to claim custody. Neither Indian law nor any of these criteria is applicable for Ruhi's custody case. So, zeroing in on to the fact that if Ishita walks out, the custody case always be Raman vs Shagun, a third party will not be considered.
