TOI- Mahakumbh: Surekha Sikri to play a grandma again

After Balika Vadhu, Surekha Sikri will again be seen playing the role of a grandmother. She will soon be seen making an entry in Mahakumbh - Ek Rahasya, Ek Kahaani.

In the show she will be essaying the role of Rudra's (Gautam Rode) dadi, say sources. "Her role will that of a strong and determined woman who is a yogini who unites with Rudra after more than a decade. Rudra, who was separated from his family as a kid, will return to Allahabad for a Mahakumbh.

Destiny brings Rudra to his own house where he meets his grandmother for the first time after leaving his house. Surekha's character will strengthen the plot further and bring in a new twist in the show," say sources.

Seems like she has a prominent role to play in this serial too Wonder will she do both serials or quit BV 😕

I think she is not quitting BV She will do both serials or BV cvs are not trustworthy They might be planning of killing Dsa too so she thought of doing something else

Happy for Surekha Sikri ... Mahakumbh is different n gripping n she is a powerhouse performer... the casting director got it totally right... n Mahakumbh is a 120 episodes show so it wont go on for eternity n anyway nowadays her body double seems enough for BV... Waiting for her intro...

Mahakumbh is a short serial so she won't be leaving BV for sure Anyways waiting for her intro in Mahakumb she will definitely rock there
