Why is Sid made to look super dumb now?

Seriously, is it the same character who used to solve everyone's problems at one point.

So what happened in the writers' head all of a sudden? Why is Sid made so helpless and powerless and essentially at the mercy of this low life Rajveer?

He lost his mobile. And of course, he doesn't have copies of that video.

The police ended up arresting him.

He is definitely gonna lose roshni's and DD's trust; at least for a while.

He really will have no place to go.

Does anyone remember Kritika saying in the show a few weeks ago that Sid will have no place to go?

Well kritika's prophecy will turn out to be true.

Seriously, I don't know whether to sympathize or be angry at Sid's character right now.

The show is going to be very difficult to watch for a few weeks.

Kritika prophecy will come through because it was all her plan,she even said how Simran will hate Roshni and watch Simran does hate the Patel's and why did Kritika plan all this because in her stupid mind she feels all the money is her own and she does not wana share it with anyone

I don't find it dumbo dear..

Actually, he didn't went silent for his mom's atrocious foolishness yesterday... He managed his best level to prove his mom abt RV's evilness. But that only foolish lady failed to understand her son's words. Also in prev episode, when RV tried to snatch Sid's moblie, Sid said he is having copies of it na... So He's not fool like his mom.

But the only thing I hate was Mr.Khurana's silence... He should rise his voice and power to hep his son na... stood like a statue he was??😡

I don't think he is acting dumb. Anyone in his place could have done only that much. Now every circumstance is against him and he is doing the best he can. He is trying to make Simran understand about RV evilness but nothing enters her thick skull. He is also extremly angry and frustrated at the turn of events, that his anger is overpowering his logic😕. Now he is in a complete mess, it would take sometime and calmness to sort it out. I would have found him dumb, if he stayed silent and watched the drama like Mr.Khurana. But he was doing something, atleast RV got a few punches that he deserves.

I agree with u that even I'm frustrated with constant failure of Sid, but the writers are making it like this for truth revelation drama. If Sid succeed in exposing RV now to everyone, Simran won't go and tell the truth to Patel's. So, I hope once separation takes place, Sid gets control of the situation.😊
