From what I have heard Upen has a lot of debt because of his clubbing and partying.

BB himself - becoz he is missing all mid-night masala after Upen's exit..and now that salman is out and farah will be embarassed to talk about it...BB is now ready to make some Khichdi of UPMA...

No. His debt is because of that Talent/Model management agency he had started with his step sister Erica. He had signed on a lot of the big models at that time with his agency as they were his friends at that time. But the skeevy guy that Upen is hemessed it up big time and really pissed off everyone involved. He lost most of his model friends and even Erica and part of his family stopped talking to him. A chunk of the modelling world cut off connections and started avoiding him. He had to stop hanging out with them.

That's why a lot of people from the modelling industry haven't been in touch with him or even seen him in the past 5or 6 years. That's why Gauhar and Diandra didn't know the "new Upen" as he's been outtta the scene for long. Also in the party Zulfi wasn't too friendly with him considering they've worked together a lot and used to be friends.

He also mentioned having not talked to his step-sis Erica for many years on WKV when he compared Soni to her.

He claims to have changed and have become a better person now.

But he is in no way in good financial condition and he himself has mentioned it on LF a few times and not just to Sonali.

If that is one weeks karch roughly for 1 person for one week - imagine how many weeks and how many people they have had stay.

I wonder how much is the cost of voting.. and how much of Jaanta money is spending on this lavish stay overs for the actors - and top of that the prize money - the HM's get paid and all the staff, that watch the cameras and Hosts ke paise and .. OMG. After all that expenditure - they are providing Patel with a lavish 7 star service for 7 days. Wow!

So this Maggie business is no joke? No not at all undermining what he has and can afford. I'm just thinking how much the jaanta are paying for this lavish stay.

I guess if I visit India I might aswell stop over at the BB house instead of paying for a luxury hotel.
