With Sonakshi & Alia , the talent was there. It was very easy to spot so I was really surprised when people,dissed them, esp Sonakshi. Yes, she's done too many furniture roles but it was for easy for me to see that she DOES have talent!
Same goes for Alia. For a newcomer she was poised, totally high on confidence & I could see that this girl is really talented.
With Sonam , from day one , I've found her to be a bad actress. Her dialogue delivery is worse than what Kangana's used to be & hasn't improved now even after being a part of the industry for nearly 8 years. She struggles with Hindi & it shows.
DD aside, she just doesn't know how to emote. It's very annoying, watching her on-screen.
As for D6, that was one of her better ones, but not Raanjhana. Her character was a very flawed woman, manipulative, utterly selfish & an elitist in love-- She could've done a lot with it---- But the way Sonam played Zoya , it looked & sounded like she was the desi Regina from Mean Girls with a particularly whiny voice & a fit of the Giggles.
Not a fan. She should stick to attending fashion shows & assist a famous designer. Also, I've heard her speak & believe me when I say- Desi REGINA!
