Part 3

It had been some days now. Madhu and RK had grown a bit of friends and they would meet everyday due to some or the other reason. RK had helped her settle in. And even though RK believed that he was just infatuated because of her beauty and he had decided that he would control his wandering thoughts about her yet whenever he would meet her, his heart would flutter and he would want to get more of her.

He was now leaving for office when he heard thudding sounds. Whats that about? The defensive instincts in him got activated as he got himself ready to fight. His fist clenched tight and eyes almost burned red. He peeked slightly towards the source of sound from behind the pillar. And there stood the beautiful slender girl who seemed to be very angry on her car. RK focused closely on her and found Madhu standing as she scolded her car. He took a sigh of relief as he took in a deep breath to relax his mind and the fury that had developed in him. His eyes calmed down and his fist relaxed.

Then he looked at her and a smile played on his lips seeing her angrily scolding the car. He moved closer to her.

"Stupid thing.. What am I going to do now.. Stupid stupid car!!" She kicked the tyre angrily.

"What did the poor thing do??" RK asked as he approached her.

"I have an important meeting today and its not ready to even start..." she said not believing.

"ohh.. bad!" RK said teasing her. "Are you sure you would be able to artend the meeting?" He asked acting worried.

"that cant be.. I have to attend it.."

"But then your car.." He said looking at it. "You have just joined office right?" He asked her.

"Yeah.. It has been 10 days.." Madhu said confused as to why he asked that suddenly.

"That would be bad. You wont be able to reach on time and its just 10 days.." RK said shaking his head as he noticed Madhu's eyes growing wide in horror.

"What am I going to do now?!" she said to herself horrified.

RK burst out laughing seeing her so worried. Madhu looked at him baffled. "Why the hell are you laughing?!" She almost screamed.

"Ofcourse seeing your face.. why are you so worried?" RK asked her controlling her laughter.

"Its really important meeting Rishabh.." she said getting serious.

"Dont worry.. I will drop you.. why did you have to get so worried...?" He said casually as he turned back to walk away. Realizing that Madhu wasnt following, he turned back. "What happened? Come.." he said confused.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Ofcourse.." he said. "Now come.."

Madhu followed him now actually relaxed. She turned around the pillar and saw RK sitting on his beautiful and sturdy Ducati sport's bike.

Her eyes grew wide yet again. "We would be going on this?!" She asked not believing.

"Yeah.." RK said casually.

Madhu screeched in excitement. "You never told me you have Ducati!" She said excitedly.

"I didnt?" RK asked confused not believing that he had missed boasting on this. his bike was something he would boast about infront of anyone and everyone.

"No!" She said screaming excited.

"Thats strange actually..." RK said nodding. "Now hop on or you would get late.." he said.

"Late on this.. Never!" She said happily as she climbed up the bike.

RK drove off as Madhu grinned happily sitting behind holding her bag tightly. They reached Madhu's office as she directed him the way.

"What time will you be free.?" He asked her casually as she got down.

"Why?" She asked confused.

"So that I can pick you up.. you are not on your car today so how else would you go back?" He stated the obvious.

"Yeah but I can seriously come myself.. it was just this time that I had this emergency.."

"Stop being so formal.. I would come to pick you up.. just tell me the time.."

"But Rishabh."

"Nope.. I am not hearing anything.." he refuted her argument before she even made it.

"Fine.. At 5.. and Thanks a lot.." she said genuinely.

"Your welcome girl..." he said smiling at her and started the ignition of the bike. That was when Madhu noticed he looked quite hot on that bike. It was like adding a lot more to that hotness factor of him. She looked at him dreamily as he rode off.

RK was now feeling too happy. Even though he tried reminding himself that it was nothing between them yet again he felt that closeness and attraction towards her. He remembered how she had held his shoulders while on the ride and even when he didnt see her he could feel that she was nervous to put her hands on. That made him realize that whatever much of a chatterbox she was but yet she was quite too naive. She wasnt the kind who could just hop on with anybody shamelessly otherwise she wouldnt have felt that inhibition in holding him. And that made him feel all the more special. Am I falling in love? He asked himself. But he next second he completely refuted the idea. Love wasnt to just like sitting together and appreciating other's beauty. Its not about sitting on bike together. It is something deeper and bigger. He told himself.

RK was waiting outside her building now. It was time to pick her up. He looked towards the door and then on the opposite side. He noticed a van about to hit a pole. He rolled his eyes as again his inner turmoil started to build. What should he do? Was always the question that would haunt him in such situations. Having the power to save mishaps he was compelled, but then its not the way. Its not natural way the things are to work. If the driver wont pay attention he has to get into such mishaps and thats what happens. There doesnt have to be a strange power to save it from happening. he was still fighting his instincts when he noticed a small girl approaching that way. Well what else can he do now..? His eyes changed to red and the next the girl was pushed apart out of the blue.

She was shocked out of her wits being pushed by nothing but then the next second the van hit the pole which she was standing infront of and that took away all the attention. "Well you deserved that.." RK shrugged casually as he looked at the van. The people gathered around the van and took the driver out. He was tipsy due to the collision but nothing much had actually happened to him.

Just then Madhu came out horrified. "What happened here?" she asked worriedly.

"That stupid man didnt know how to drive.." RK shrugged.

"Did any thing happenes to anyone?" She asked worriedly.

"Seems not.." he said checking the girl from his distance. He was only worried for the child. Making sure that she was fine he turned to madhu. "Lets go.."

Madhu smiled nervously and sat on the bike. "So how was your meeting?" he asked her.

"Yes it was good.. Those people are quite impressed with me for sure.." she said in a boastful tone.

"Who wouldnt..?" He muttered to himself.


"So.. now you will have to accept a treat from me.. Its because of you everything went smoothly.." she said.

"I didnt help for some treat.."

"Nope! Its decided. " she said.

"Well.. your coffee.. I think I really missed that after that day.."

"Really? You liked it.." she said excitedly.

"Yes of course.."

They both chatted the whole ride as they enjoyed each other's company.
