As per the precap it seems Swami Agnivesh is Maya's uncle. So is this Agnivesh's plan, use Maya to bring Rudra to Allahabad.
And when he sees Maya's charm is not working , he kills Maimui. So Maya knows her uncle wants Rudra for some reason and she is playing as her uncle wants.
Because she was so artificial from the beginning, there is a real illusion about her which I had felt. And Swami Agnivesh as her uncle is just making things complicated.
So which side is Maya actually. Is it that she is currently with her uncle and then will properly switch to Rudra's side once she knows the truth.
Actually precap has made me want to watch the show more.
