From a SRK fan

A fan watches his stars movie pretty quickly as soon as it releases. I usually make it a point to go to theatres at least by Monday to watch SRK's films. Others I don't even go these days. I however didn't go to see Happy New Year because I was solid busy during Diwali. Then when I got time I heard so much negativity about the movie that I didn't bother.

But still HNY got best movie of the year award...congrats to all srk fan

I hope SRK realises what a piece of crap he made, and decides not to work with Farah again. I will not watch HNY again, I found it decent in parts, but as a whole it was just bad.

Hop on board because I know how you feel. I too only watch SRK movies at theaters when it comes to Bollywood and unfortunately the man tends to disappoint me more often than not. Being a hopeless optimist, I'm waiting for Raees and Fan to cheer me up as a fan

Oh please! No logic allowed! Dubai govt gave them a discount so they went there. It looks all grand there you know!

Movie was mind-numbing. I was like, so many freaking stars in this movie, yet nobody realised how bad the whole thing was?😕

The only explanation I could think of is they have this idea of new cinema. That is take big names and shoot it in big budget and show things which will make indian audience go crazy.

Now yesterday I was kinda bored so watched Happy New Year.

I honestly have to say I was really really disappointed. I think SRK and Farah went to Atlantis for drinks and decided to make something. By the time drinks were finished they had the script ready.

I am a big fan of heist movies and after seeing some gems like Oceans 11, Inside Man, Snatch, etc you develop a very different taste for these kind of movies. Anything bollywood makes isn't even comparable. So I wasn't expecting a very good heist movie but was at least looking to be entertained. Sadly there was no entertainment.

• First of all the reason for taking part in the competition was way super super weak. I that Shah guy was such a big hacker why couldn't he figure out a way to make duplicate key so they could enter the designated room for few mins. Really a big logic fail here.
• Why the hell were diamonds brought to Dubai? There was no exhibition, there was no sale, nothing. Only to keep in vault so someone can try to steal them? Really makes no sense.
• Biggest and the most stupidest in my opinion. If they were able to come out of safe from the vent above, then why couldn't they enter into it Tom Cruise style? This was really really stupid.

This one movie doesn't actually affect my linking for SRK, but I hope he realises what a piece of shit the movie was. I didn't even criticise Jab Tak Hain Jaan. So you can understand how much I hated this movie.
